The Lyrics

And now, future music superstar J*LNA is on the verge of dazzling another group of song parody lovers with his brand new mega-smash hit, "Hip Hop!" Let's all take a look.
You have so many one hit wonders in the biz
Only one or two will last
You're going to buy their album I'm sure
Then you wait for them to break out and they're gone so fast
And they're gone so fast
So hold on to the albums you know are classics
In the end, they'll be the only ones worth passing
When Eminem gets old and starts losing his hair
Can you tell me if hip hop will still be there
Can you tell me if hip hop will still be there

CHORUS
Hip hop getting killed by doo wop
Doo wop getting killed by live pop
Live pop getting killed by pop up
Pop up talks about hip hop
Tupac still putting down that hip hop
And Boo Kap still doing the doo wop
Jive crop still likes doing live pop
And VH1 loves that pop up, ba doo

BEP, Fifty Cent, Busta Rhymes
You can listen to them anytime
Keep listening to the words you know
And the words you do not know
It's a secret no one knows

CHORUS

It's the hip hop, they're all gone
It's the doo wop, they're not there
It's the live pop, they're all gone
Cause of pop up, they're not there

CHORUS

Can you tell me
You say you can but you don't know
Can you tell me
You say that hip hop trends will not grow
Can you tell me
You say you can but you don't know
Can you tell me
You say that hip hop trends will not grow
Wow, that is sure to be a multi-platinum hit for young J*LNA! This guy is going to be something! (audience roars with approval)

I thought the idea for this parody was original and funny, even with a few extra syllables. As for the Hanson version, the extra syllables are so crammed in...what they're saying seems to be a "secret no one knows" until you read the liner notes. Great job!
