The Lyrics

Siskel & Ebert gave this movie two thumbs down, Especially Siskel, he said it was the worst movie of 1997. But I disagree totally! In my most honest and humble opinion, this movie did not suck! It was funnier than hell! Siskel & Ebert wouldn't know a good movie if it came up and bit them in their butts! :-D Anyways, here is the parody: ;-)
Task I aspire, to bring back fire
From statue in, in village of New York
Promise to me, made wakatepe
I don’t understand, baboon won’t leave work

All I ever want is, all I ever need is
Here on my island
Touch stick with hand, now I am a man
Now I can do Chief’s plan

(Instrumental Break)

Men who don’t care, buying their shares
Madness on trade floor, profits shrink and grow
You lose you gain, cash down the drain
Beans are seventy, and are getting low

All I ever want is, all I ever need is
Right here in New York
Things got hairy, till baboon marry
Place that he go for broke

(Instrumental Break)

How can I be in, I can’t be in two
Jungles both at once
Things got hairy, baboon didn’t marry
Place that he love was lost

All I ever want is, all I ever need is
Here on my island
Baboon shoot fly, he’s a pinare’
Do our Jungles share bond?

(Instrumental Break)

Jungle 2 Jungle!

My parodies NEVER fall below a 3 score, anything below a 3 to me, just says someone is screwing around with me, and I DO NOT suggest they do that! :-X

Listen! Study this parody more carefully people, I have provided ALL! the necessary information needed to make it understandable, funny, to prove that the pacing is not off so much as a little, if at all, and enough to give this better ratings than 1's, 2's, & 3's! Please, don't be like those ba****ds, Siskel & Ebert, with my parody as they were with the movie it's about... :-(
Monstermaster13 - April 25, 2011 - Report this comment
I know the difference between an actual jungle like the one in the song and the movie, so I give this parody some wild 5's.

Monstermaster13: Thank you for your comment and vote! I just wish things would go a lot faster in the V and C categories today, and I also would like to apologize for that second comment I posted, about my parodies never falling below 3, pay no attention to it anyone, it's just that I as well as all the rest of us, work so hard, and in my case harder, on our parodies, only to be most of the time, rewarded with disappointments, :-( such as low votes, or no comments, or both. I just find it very frustrating to have to put up with that. But this parody is still open for V's and C's so, anyone is welcome, but remember, I'd prefer, as anyone I'd say would, "vote and comment responsibly" ;-) -WCJ-

Man this parody brought back some memories! Great work here Wild Child (really fits your name). I love this film and although a lot of people give Tim Allen crap I actually enjoy most of his work (especially Galaxy Quest!)

I think I should be a little more specific on how this movie fits me, most of you may have already guessed, because parts of it take place in the villages and jungle's of Canaima National Park, Venezuela, and "definitely as the character Mimi Siku is concerned". So once again thanks all for all the votes/comments, keep em' coming! -WCJ- :-)

Oh, in case you're wondering, the character "Michael Cromwell" (Tim Allen) is also called "Baboon" by "Mimi Siku" (Sam Huntington) in "Jungle 2 Jungle" Just thought I'd clear that up. :-)

Ok, JIN I mean this in the best way, I undertsand where you're comin from, but you have to get used to people bashing your stuff. You can't possibly please everybody all the time, it's impossible. Some of the best songs and movies ever created still have people who hate them. Yeah, we all work hard on our stuff, but you need to undestand to take every critcism you get to make yourself better :) Even though you're already really good. So take everything everybody says with a grain of salt.

(SOTM) As for the parody, I thought you did a good job. I liked this movie as well. Good tribute.

I had to read up on the movie, never heard of it, Tim Allen's work are all straight to video over here, 'cept for the Santa stuff, and those are still past midnight schedule fillers, can't really tell you why, maybe his guy-next-door-gets-into-trouble thingy just don't work in Scandinavia, we have our own local guys to fill that comedy genre. But I'm drifting, as for the parody you still get 444 from this Scandinavian tribesman. :-)

Blaydeman: I can understand criticism, when criticism is due, but when someone dumps bad comment and/or votes on me for no reason, other than for the hell of it, I do not consider that criticism or bashing, I consider that just plain out, INSULTING!!!

WCJ, you put way to much stock in votes, all someone has to do to vote several times is erase cookies and cast another vote, which clearly appears to be what happened here. Want to see a really extreme example? Check out any number of Max Powers parodies, some have been one bombed 50 to 100 times, sometimes in the day they were posted. While the quality of any writer can be questioned and opinions will differ from viewer to viewer, clearly 50 to 100 people did not read Max Power's parodies and have an opinion. Your votes on this parody were to systematic to have been 5 different people's opinions and I've seen that particular set of votes happen before (Where someone 1,2,3,4, and 5 a song) on parodies across the site. Trust me, its probably 1 person who wants to magnify his or her opinion by artificially inflating the votes, like normal with such a vote there is no comment backing up the claim. I have one very serious recommendation for you: STOP SWEATING THE SMALL STUFF, you are going to make yourself sick if you obsess over votes which really mean nothing, its the comments that matter, and we all deal with the weird voters--they try to get under your skin, that's the goal, you are playing into it by getting worked up. I say this from personal experience having been on the site for over 7 years as a casual reader, and about 5 as an actual contributor. . .you getting worked up or concerned over the votes is EXACTLY what the voter wants you to do, and I assure you--that voting method is one voter, not 5. . .the pattern is unmistakable and no parody gets that many votes that closely together.

Far out, man. I remember that movie. That was Disney right? Tim Allen got in their pocket for a while. They have deep pockets so it's a good gig. I enjoyed your style on this. And I think this is the first parody of yours that I'm reading, so it's nice to meet you Wild Child.

BAD: Thank you for the advice, and yes, you do have a very strong point as far as the voting goes, but when it comes down to taking chances or pressing luck, I am not sure if I should do either in that case. Also, it's nice to meet you too Glen, thank you for your vote and/or comment! :-) -WCJ-

SOTM: Never heard the OS before, but the pacing and rhyming with it were really good. Sadly, I have only seen bits and pieces of the movie so I was totally in line with it, but nice work either way!

(SOTM) Don't think I've seen this particular movie, but you did a great job fitting the plot into this lyrically limited song. 555 for you
