"The Door Wont Open"

Parody Written by:

Ghetto John & Monaco Chris

The Lyrics

This song is one of the last songs Chris May or Monaco Chris had a part in working on. He wrote the first verse and chorus, but never finished it. It stayed in my computer for about 3 months and after he passed away, I decided to finish it and submit it. This is the first of many uncompleted songs that will be submitted in the near future. Peace Ghetto John, and rest in peace Monaco Chris.
[Monaco Chris]
Well Jimmy had,
a hard time today,
an old wood door,
stood in his way,
he closed his eyes,
and chopped it down to size,
but its still there.
to his surprise

[Monaco Chris]
The door wont open,
that door is too tight,
look at Jimmies face,
he has tried everything,
the door wont open.

[Ghetto John]
Well he dont know ,
If hes ready,
to use that saw,
on this door he sees
He closed his eyes,
the saw is at his side,
oh my gosh!
there goes his thigh!

[Monaco Chris]
The door wont open,
that door is too tight,
look at Jimmies face,
he has tried everything,
[Ghetto John]
the door wont open.
now his whole life will change,
he lost his leg,
and his wifes diamond ring,
the door wont open

guitar solo

[Ghetto John]
if he had just one wish,
only one demand,
he would wish that door,
would no longer stand,
so he could get inside,
of that long lost room,
because of that old door,
he has felt his doom.

[Monaco Chris]
The door wont open,
that door is too tight,
look at jimmies face,
he has tried everything,
the door wont open.
now his whole life will change,
he lost his leg,
and his wifes diamond ring,
the door wont open

Rest In Peace Monaco Chris 1984-2003

The original song is from the 2000s not 90s. It came out in the year 2000 and won a grammy for Best Rock Song. I don't know where you got 90s from. The song did not exist prior to Jan 1, 2000 (except maybe inthe recording studio, but it wasnt released until 00).

Boy, some serious sticklers for detail about the decade!

I just think it would make things much easier, especially for reference purposes, if things were properly labeled.

Maybe it would, but this is trivial in light of a young man's death.' ...' should show more compassion.

The Album itself was released in 1999, thus the song is from the 90's. Release really doesnt mean to much. Im going on the basis of the album. But any ways Peace --- Ghetto John.

Right you are, ghetto john, although the song itself didn't become a hit on the charts until 00. I guess it's not totally wrong to put it in 90s if it was released then. However, if something was actually released on or after 1/1/00, then it would go in 2000s. Anyway, 'nuff said.
