The Lyrics

As with all my other parodies, this song is available for listening, Hear Vampire's Theme For Free!. . .thanks for your time.
No matter how hard I try
I can't push what I see aside
And I can't break through
They're so dark and thery're cruel
It's so sad that I'm bleeding
It's not that hard to believe in
But after dusk and until dawn
They're out there biting everyone

Do you believe in the thirst for blood
I look into her eyes I'm praying
I really hope that I'm strong enough oh
Do you believe in the thirst for blood
They'll trick you deep into their fortress
Take a bite and then you will join them

What am I supposed to do
Now I'm a Vampire too
Well my thirst is back
Draculas a bat
My eyes are blue and leading
My hair is blonde and inviting
'Cause I've got time to think it through
And think it's time for me to bite you

Do you believe in the thirst for blood
I look into her eyes I'm praying
I really hope that I'm strong enough oh
Do you believe in the thirst for blood
They'll trick you deep into their fortress
Take a bite and then you will join them

Well I know the sun will kill me
and I hate garlic anyway
I don't need rock anymore
I don't need rock anymore
I don't need rock anymore
I don't need rock anymore

Do you believe in the thirst for blood
I look into her eyes I'm praying
I really hope that I'm strong enough oh
Do you believe in the thirst for blood
They'll trick you deep into their fortress
Take a bite and then you will join them

Pretty good B.A.D. Would have sounded better on Halloween rather than Christmas, but 555s for you Sir.
Yoidy - December 14, 2006 - Report this comment
It looks like Cher's already a member of the undead, too. 555 bloody pints.

Cher seems to age slowly, maybe she's a vampire, heh heh. I couldn't access the recording via the top link, so I went to your author's page on Soundclick (which did work for me). Good work here, Dave.

As Borat once said: Nice! Great work. But too bad you didn't know that she, Barbra Streisand and MJ are in the same league.

This song has been re-recorded as of 01/09/2007, it is in the same location as the original Vampire's Theme--Thank You.

I think Red Ant's right, look at half those CD Album Covers.... She's pale, black make-up, and has the sense of death about her

What can I say I love horror movies.

I made a kick-ass video to this so you know my opinion of this parody of yours. Very well done David.

(ABC4V)

If vamps commercialized their product like Budwieiser. They cluld run a commercial that says "This Bloods for you". The misquote is from an aging Bud commercial. Vamps just make for some bloody good parody and this is bloody good.

(ABC) I like how the opening verse leads you to believe that this might be some sort of emo-eque anthem...then the real theme comes out. You did a nice job on it, butI wish it was "LOL funny", as opposed to "whimsically funny". Knowhatimean?

Let's not forget Angelina, drinking the blood of exhusband Billy-Bob . . . . .

Hey Dave...I'm not sure where this fits in your chronology here, but I would guess that if you were to write this today you would do a little more with the choruses. Otherwise, vampires are always fun...
stuart mcarthur - July 09, 2008 - Report this comment
(ABC) well written as usual Dave, except for the repetition in the choruses, and I'm glad I could access your recording because I couldn't remember how the OS went - and as Yoidy suggested, this would be great if sung by the diva queen of the undead herself - 555 Cherit reminds me of
