There’s a little rain or snow, you might ask yourself why
Something you should already know that deserts are always dry
Animals and plants have found ways to store water
And camels can go dozens of days even when it’s hotter

Just ask the snakes or the cacti
If they could talk, they should tell ya
Water’s in short supply, deserts are always dry

But don’t be fooled about the desert
It’s not always hot like you’re told
