The Lyrics

Valkyrie (aka Brunnhilde, daughter of Odin) has lived through many alter-egos including Samantha Parrington who can take her form and abilities at will. Valkyrie fights on earth and in the cosmos against a wide range of creatures, entities, and villains as part of the old Defenders. She rides a flying horse named Aragorn given to her by the Black Knight and carries a magical sword carved from a extra-dimensional dragon tooth through the wizard Kahji-Da which is as indestructible as Thor's Hammer. As Asgardian, she has superhuman strength and is invunerable to most weapons. She has the ability to see those that are about to die and can carry them home to Valhalla if so honored. She once disobeyed Odin and protected Thor and once they were brief lovers. Valkyrie also has the ability to conquer death...
She’s Asgardian
Valkyrie’s alter-ego is Sam Parrington
Carries a sword carved from the tooth of a dragon
She flies into the sky on winged-horse Aragorn

She’s Asgardian
Fightin’ Demi-Gods and their legions
Slayin’ dragons and supernatural beings
She flies into the sky on winged-horse Aragorn

She’s Asgardian
Defied Odin and protected Thor from harms way
With magic weapons
She battles constant cosmic disarrays
Eternally, as Asgardian

Valkyrie’s alter-ego is Sam Parrington
Carries a sword carved from the tooth of a dragon
She flies into the sky on winged-horse Aragorn

Very fun parody, Rob. Your rhymes worked very well with the original. What did you think of the 'THOR' movie when it came out?

Thir had always been part of my favorite 5 Marvel lineup when I was a kid: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, and Sub-Mariner. Odd balls were: Man-Thing, Ka-zar, X-Men, Spiderman, and Doctor Strange. I never read DC b/c they were the cheapie comics that came in those 10 pack bags at Woolco or Woolworth's for $3. Any the Indies back then were mostly oddball too, not like today's cutting edge comics. I think I collected a few Keystone Comics (was Green Hornet one of those?). I was way into MAD magazine since '73 and still have every issue. At school we ordered DYNAMITE magazine!!! Who remembers that?

Good parody. I didn't read Marvels much as a little kid because so many of their comics had continuing storylines and I never knew if I could afford next month's comic. So I preferred ones with self-contained stories.
