I'm a fan of Mortal Kombat
There was something I have to kinda tell

There are 12 characters in this fighting game
Though I've liked Super Street Fighter II
But this Mortal Kombat game that I ever saw
In some arcades, because you just knew

That's right, Sub-Zero and Scorpion were there
So do Johnny Cage, Rayden, and Liu
'cause they're fighting for eternity 'til the fall of Shao Kahn
Right here in Mortal Kombat II

Did you know that Shang Tsung just came back
He's still morphing into everybody else
Even Reptile is spitting some acid on his foes
So you wanted to see it for yourself

Also, Jax, Kung Lao, Mileena
Kitana and Baraka were introduced
'cause they're ready to join the next Mortal Kombat tournament
In the game of Mortal Kombat II

Besides Fatalities, there are Friendships where you can
Make your defeated opponent a friend
You might sometimes pull off a Babality
Again and again and again and again and again
(Oh can't ya see what I'm trying to tell ya guys?)

So when you see the words "finish him"
Better show it to your worst friend or two
You really want to play Samurai Showdown anyway
Or even better yet, Mortal Kombat II

Now you better master your favorite special moves
Even that Shao Kahn is waiting for you
You don't want to lose and try your best to do a finishing move
When playing that Mortal Kombat II

You want to knock your defeated opponent into the deal pool, the pit, and the upward spikes [man screaming]
