The Lyrics

Had forgotten that UB40's version was a remake of Neil Diamond's original.
Dead, dead swine
Those screwed swine bled
I can’t forget their squeals, oh no
Male chicks grinded
should make you spew
There’s no excuse for this one
Memories won't go, bad memories won't go.
I'd have thought that with time
all that cruelty would leave my head
I was wrong, and I find
Nothing can make me forget:
Pink, pink slime
Stay far from me
Animal puree is gross
Animals torn apart breaks my heart.
I'd have thought that with time
all that cruelty would leave my head
I was wrong, and I find
Nothing can make me forget:
Pink, pink slime
Stay far from me
Animal puree is gross
Animals torn apart breaks my heart.
Shredding swine, that is so unkind
so unkind it makes me lose my mind
Dead bovine, that is nothing grand
You’ll never see a bloody steak in my hand
Dead, dead swine makes me feel so sad
Every time I see them die, it makes me feel bad
Dead bovine, that sure ain’t divine
Monkey meat should cost you a million dollar fine
Dead, dead swine, you know those pigs felt the sting
You will never see me eating duck Peking
Dead bovines, instead they should have gotten love
Butchering them is sure not blessed from above
Pink, pink slime, i hated you right from the start
Right from the start, with all of my heart
Dead, dead swine is never in style
Pink, pink slime, what could be more vile?

I toast your use of OS, but most readers will lose their appetites. I know that was part of your purpose, mon, so this can't be rated on a humor scale. Poignant, but with somewhat wonky pacing.

I agree. The vile pink slime was used in Ghostbusters II (1989) underneath the crowded streets of New York City in which the heroic Ghostbusters are trying to get rid of and restore the city's water supply so that Oscar could take his bath without the aid of Slimer (their former ghost-busting ally from the 1984 film or the 1986-1991 animated series).
