Parody Song Title:

"I Just Cannot Find What I'm Looking For"

The Lyrics

A song about losing things, inspired by a sketch on the TV programme Alistair McGowan's Big Impression
I have searched highest cupboard
I have gone through the sheets
Only to find it
Only to find it

I have looked
I have searched
I've dismantled the woodwork
The woodwork
Only to find it

But I just cannot find what I'm looking for
But I just cannot find what I'm looking for

I kissed rosary beads
Went to church and said my prayers
It drove me mad
This burning desire

I have spoke with the psychic hotline
I have hunted on my knees
It took me all night
It was cold in the house

But I just cannot find what I'm looking for
But I just cannot find what I'm looking for

I believe it will turn up
Then I fold it and store it away
Store it away
Well, yes I'm still hunting

It broke my spirit and it
Drove me mad
Kept me up
Through the night
Through the night
I just don't believe it

But I just cannot find what I'm looking for
But I just cannot find what I'm looking for
But I just cannot find what I'm looking for
No, I just cannot find what I'm looking for

Oh, my, Lucy Branston's Great Granddaughter, this was great! It perfectly sums up the horror of looking for something you can't find! I was looking for a piece of paper once, and it turned out to be in my pocket all the while (hour and a half) I was looking for it. You need look no further for a well-earned 555.

555, I'm not a fan of U2(my mom was with their early work, like this song), a well written parody.

This could have been a 555 hade some of those missing syllables been found and paced, and (IMHO) if you had mentioned what you were looking for (preferably something funny in itself) towards the end, still not bad for someone with less than 10 parodies so far, 444.
