The Lyrics

As you may know, there is a big problem with people talking on their cell phones while driving. Not only is this dangerous (about as dangerous as drunk driving), but it's illegal too. Cellaholics, ive us a break, shut off the phone for safety's sake. Oh what, I gotta make a blaring rock 'n' roll song to convince you to stop? OK then. As usual, enjoy the parody.
Don’t talk on your cell phone!
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!

Don’t try your multitaskin’,
Hey dude, that’s all I’m askin’,
We all have rights to the roadway!
It’s not just prohibited, it’s
Also very dangerous,
It will also wreck my whole day!

Don’t talk on your cell phone!
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!

Hey, don’t you care ‘bout others,
Whether or not they’re brothers?
If the answer’s yes, then hang up & drive!
If you choose to contest it,
Then you will get arrested,
We don’t want to deal with your jive!

Whoa, oh, oh;
Whoa, oh, oh!

We want
(Yeah!)
To drive
(Yeah!)
Don’t flaunt
(Yeah!)
Your jive!
(Yeah!)

Whoa, whoa, whoa,
Don’t talk on your cell phone!
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!

Don’t talk on your cell phone!
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!
No way!

[guitar solo]

Whoa, oh, oh;
Whoa, oh, oh!

We want
(Yeah!)
To drive
(Yeah!)
Don’t flaunt
(Yeah!)
Your jive!
(Yeah!)

Don’t talk on your cell phone!
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!

Don’t talk on your cell phone!
(NO!)
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!
(Just hang up & drive, dude!)

Don’t talk on your cell phone!
(Hang up!)
No! Don’t talk on your cell phone!
(DID I GIVE YOU PERMISSION TO TALK & DRIVE, MAGGOT!?!?!!!?!?!?)
Don’t talk on your cell phone while you drive!
(NOW DROP & GIVE ME FIFTY!)

[fading out]

Don’t talk on your cell phone!
(YOU’RE TOO SLOW!)…
NOTICE: I posted this in my parody "Goldeneye", but I thought it'd get more attention if I posted it here. Now, I apologize for not being able to submit parodies to this website on a regular basis. In addition to writing parodies, I'm also concerned with building models, reading books, video games, and such. Thus, I am a busy man. In addition, I start college on September 5 (which is tomorrow at the time of this writing), so you can see where this is going. However, I love this website & I applaud ChuckyG for making a website where I can submit song parodies & other musical info & see what others have submitted. Keep up the good work, you guys! Long live AmIRight.com!!!!!!!

A-freakin'-men! Or, as I said a few years ago, "Hang Up the Cell Phone Now!" There can never be too many of these parodies, as long as there are too many of these people.

I used to work with the Twisted Sister's lead guitarist's sister-in-law and she told me (long before it was public knowledge) that the OS was in fact a parody of 'Come All Ye Faithful'! So...nice job on this parody of a parody! 555

More 'sensible' than 'funny' but I liked it, 535

I agree completely (this is one of my frequent rants). Though this is kind of mild when compared to this: /parody/90s/kevinbloodywilson1.shtml

I am especially vulnerable to cellaholics because I drive too slow (according to some people) and I drive a Yugo, which is about 1/3 as big as a Hummer. Hang Up And Drive, For God's Sake!

Thank you all! MasonR: Really? I'll have to check it out. Andria: If all else fails, then attach a .50 caliber machine gun & some armor plating to your Yugo. No one will mess with you then!
Andria - September 17, 2007 - Report this comment
OK, Dylan, where do I get a .50 caliber machinegun and where can I get my Yugo armor-plated within 50 miles of Elkhart, Indiana? Great suggestion, however.
