The Lyrics

Pfizer (prounounced "FYE-zur") is the drug company that makes Viagra and started the enhancement revolution. Now, for a small fee, you, too, can be a "longshoreman." While we're, so to speak, on the subject, since Johnny D still hasn't turned "I Write the Songs" into "I Height the Dongs," I guess I'll have to get this one up.
Risin' up, back in the game.
Lost some time and some chances.
Got new distance, now I'm back on my feet.
Just a man and his satisfied wife.

So many times, happened too fast.
Traded my passion for nothing.
I lost my grip, my dreams all had passed.
I take a pill to get them revived.

And now, I thank you, Pfizer.
Now, I'm back in the fight.
Risin' up to my wife at her arrival.
And the returned survivor, he's back to his full height.
And along with my happy wife I... thank you, Pfizer!

Face to face, showing our heat.
Hangin' tough with my baby.
I stacked the odds, so our act is complete.
Got the pill for the skill to survive.

And now, I thank you, Pfizer.
Now, I'm back in the fight.
Risin' up to my wife at her arrival.
And the returned survivor, he's back to his full height.
And along with my happy wife I... thank you, Pfizer!

Risin' up, straight to the top.
Had the girl, got the glory.
Went the distance, she don't want me to stop.
Just the man that she needs to survive.

And now, I thank you, Pfizer.
Now, I'm back in the fight.
Risin' up to my wife at her arrival.
And the returned survivor, he's back to his full height.
And along with my happy wife I... thank you, Pfizer!

And up-and-coming drug firm, Pfizer
Wants to make you an early riser.
Had troubles with plumbing?
Just wait--something's coming.
You're now like an Old Faithful geiser.

By the way, Michael, I already voted 555 for this parody. As the Eye Of The Tiger parodies go, this one's BIGGER than most ... but it's about equal in size to mine!

It's scary that this parody has more class than many of the commercials for these products. You did a good job of spurtin' this one out.

I forgot one of the most important Amiright rules: "If the idea sounds obvious, it probably sounded obvious to somebody else first." And I gave Johnny fives on his version last September. Well, you know what they say: The first thing to go is the memory, and the second thing to go is... wait a minute... don't help me... well, some things even Viagra can't cure.

Cue the rising organ music!

It takes a hard man to parody this, and a rich one as well as Viagra is about 10 bucks a pop w/o insurance ( although I'm sure the wife would think it's money well spent ) :)
