The Lyrics

Yes, I know. This song has been parodied so many times it's not funny anymore. And yes, I am also aware that another famous parody singer has already covered the bologna topic long ago. But I found this on a disc when I was cleaning my desk from WAAAAY back in '98 when I first started writing and it gave me a few chuckles. I hope it does the same for you!
Is this some real meat
or is it a substitute
It tastes a lot like
something made from a soy bean root
open your mouth and just take a bite and see
I love this meat boys
come eat pizza with me
cause I'ts meat I love yes I know
a little meat can't hurt you so
take some where ever I go
I keep getting fatter, you see, you see

Too Late, the buffet is closed
we just ran outta time
but I can't get meat off my mind
good meat, everybody
I'm about to blow
cause I ate too much balonga anyway
mamma (ooh ooh) These onions make you cry
if I eat here this time tommorow
carry out, carry out like I said I'm getting fatter
Salami can kill a man
if left on the counter for some time
can get infected with e-coli
salami ain't good you know
so if you get some please throw it all away
salami (ooh ooh) I don't want it fried
I sometimes wish you didn't cook food at all

(big guitar solo)

(piano intro)
I eat more than a starving pregnant cow
waiter sir! waiter sir! please take my order now
meat lover's pizza come it's time to eat oh no
it's dijorno it's dijorno it's dijorno pizza yo
magnifico! (oh, oh, oh)
let's thank those Italian boys for this tasty treat
thank you Italian boys for this lovely pizza!
we love to top it with varieties of meat
this pizza with stuffed crust
I'm about to bust
bologna NO! we will not let you go
can't eat more
bologna NO! we will not let you go
can't eat more
will not let you go (can't eat more)
will not let you go (can't eat more)
will not let it go (oh oh oh)
no no no no no no no no no no
salami-a salami-a salami-a please let go
this fried cooking will surely clog my arteries
no please, no please

(another guitar solo)

yes I'll eat meat until the day I die
so you think I don't love meat, oh why
balognie, always I eat bolognie
just gotta eat out just gotta eat out
more this year

(sudden decrescendo)

(ooooh oooh) I'm still getting fatter
from this rancid meat
I'm still getting fatter, you see
I'm still getting fatter

Pretty good. The scansion goes a little south in the middle (I can't quite figure out how to get the "I see a little silouette" line or the "he's just a poor boy" section to come out even CLOSE to the right rhythm), but overall not bad at all.
