The Lyrics

AAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHH!!! I really hate it when I decide to write a parody song & think I came up with the idea only to discover that someone else stole it (*cough* mynameisearlhickey *cough*)!!!!!!!!!! Oh well, I do have a saying: "Don't get mad, write a song about it.", so I did just that.
I got an idea for a parody,
And it would be wicked rad.
But someone wrote it already,
And now I'm wicked mad.
I wasn't ready, wasn't ready for that.
Why did that stupid cheater have me beat?
Now I'm so mad that I'm gonna rip
A big huge chunk of meat, yeah.

Another one stole my song!
Another one stole my song!
And another one's gone, and another one's gone, & another one stole my song!
Hey, I didn't see it come!
Another one stole my song!

How do you think that I'm gonna feel
When my ideas you steal?
You took the best idea that I had,
So now I'm wicked mad.
Are you happy?
Are you satisfied, just because you've got me beat?
Now I'm so mad that I'm gonna rip
A big huge chunk of meat, yeah.

Another one stole my song!
Another one stole my song!
And another one's gone, and another one's gone, & another one stole my song!
Hey, I didn't see it come!
Another one stole my song!

Another one stole my song!
Another one stole my song!
Another one stole my song! (Oy! Oy!)
Another one stole my song! (Goddam!)
Another one stole my song!
Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeyyeyeyeeyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!

There are plenty of ways that you can go
And tick me off real bad.
You can insult me,
Go and beat me at Goldeneye,
And make me wicked mad.
But if you go and steal my parodies,
That's something you won't repeat.
I'll get so mad that I'll rip you up
Like a huge chunk of meat, yeah.

Another one stole my song!
Another one stole my song!
And another one's gone, and another one's gone, & another one stole my song!
Hey, I didn't see it come!
Another one stole my song!

I thought this was clever. The more versions of the same song and the more thoughts on the same idea the better.

Not voting as I don't know the OS well enough, but just wanted to say that we've all been to that point where we have a parody half-written only to find it's already been done. However, if your version is quite different from the earlier one, just submit it anyway and give a link acknowleging the other. We've done it ! :-)

This song was fun to sing along. Witty and thoughtful. Been there and seen that - but still completed mine. Fivers.

Well, if I believe that mine will do better, OK then.

I think it's just your imagination playing tricks on you. I really don't believe you.
