The Lyrics

No, I don't work for Young's But I do like fish
(We are Young's) We are Young's
(Masters of fish) Masters of fish
(We are) We are
(Searching the seas) Searching the seas
(For so long) For so long
(Love is seafood by Young's) Love is seafood by Young's
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa,
whoa

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas for so long
Both of us knowing
Love is seafood by Young's

You'll love our chippy cones
Our classic fish pie
Why do we treat you so good?
Would it help you to know
Fruits de Mer Paella
Could just be the best thing you've had?

Believe us
Believe us
We can't tell you why
We get trapped in your nets
As we fish for your smile

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas
for so long
Love is seafood by Young's

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas for so long
Both of us knowing
Love is seafood by Young's

Keep in calorie control
A Young's dish twice a week
Is a good source of protein

When all things considered
It's responsibly sourced
Because Young's fish for life

If our dishes get better
You could lose control
But your heart will say thank you
Your loved ones will, too

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas
for so long
Love is seafood by Young's

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas for so long
Both of us knowing
Love is seafood by Young's

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas
for so long
Love is seafood by Young's

We are Young's
Masters of fish, we are
Searching the seas for so long
Both of us knowing
Love is seafood by Young's

Not bad, with.one caveat -- Love is Seafood by Young's does not track "Love is a battlefield" very well at all. And in this case, thats very important because "Love ... battlefield" is the most iconic lyric of this song, by far. So try something like "Love is a Seafood meal" and then you can segue into "Love is a haddock meal" or even "Love is a hallibut." .... After all you've already established in the first line that the song is about Young's

Thanks for your rating & comments, CML. Much appreciated, but I wasn't going for accuracy, more a cynical, shameless attempt at seeing if Young's would use it in one of their adverts!!!

I'm no singer nor musician, so if you are & in the unlikely event you want to do a version, email me at rikkigoldsmith@gmail.com & we'll discuss royalties!!

Yeah, Rik, CML is correct, and I would also add you could add a whole lot more by changing your chorus at least once, if not every time. Good luck on your quest to make cash from this hobby. If you have any singing ability, you could consider creating a YouTube channel as I have and performing a capella, or utilize karaoke-style tracks with explicit permission from such producers.
