Parody Song Title:

"Mah Quiet (My Quiet)"

Parody Written by:

Adagio

The Lyrics

Mah Quiet,
Mah Quiet,
Mah heart desires, for mah quiet.

Lies that win me over, lips that never smile.
That man can sure enough make my little heart whine.
I get a gleeful feelin' up and down my spine
When I know that Mah Quiet's goin' be mine.

Now I'm singin'
Mah Quiet,
Mah Quiet,
Mah heart desires, for mah quiet.
Go ahead, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Go ahead, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Bye to Silver, away.

This night I'm gonna see him go on that big bus away.
And I'm gonna give him biggest boot I can. (and I can)
He did jump and holler because I refused to wear that collar.
Writing this 'song' looks like I made my plan.

Now I'm sayin'
Mah Quiet,
Mah Quiet,
Mah heart desires, for mah quiet.
Jiffy up, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Jiffy up, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Bye to Silver, away.

Mah Quiet,
Mah Quiet,
Mah heart desires, for mah quiet.
Go ahead, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Go ahead, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Bye to Silver, away.

Mah Quiet, (yeaaaa) mah quiet
Mah heart desires, for mah quiet.
Jiffy up, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Jiffy up, SCOOT POPPA SCOOT POPPA PAW PAW
Bye to Silver, away.

Mah Quiet, (yeaaaa) mah quiet (fade while waiting for the bus).

Reminds me of my ailing sister, who, with friends and relatives flocking in constantly from out of state, sometimes just needs her peace and quiet...and rest. Nicely done 5's

Enjoy your peace and quiet while it lasts. My mother used to say us kids that all she wanted for Mother's Day or her birthday was "peace and quiet". We always thought she was being shy about what gift she wanted - turns out all she really wanted peace and quiet, lol.
