The Lyrics

Wild Child JIN and I are both working on feral studies and song parodies at the same time. This is my verison using "Thriller" as the base song...
It's almost getting light
something feral's returnin' to the dark
under dawn’s light
You see a child that tears your heart apart
He tries to scream
But no language skills means that he can’t speak it
He starts to flee
As a gun is pointed right between his eyes
He’s paralyzed

'Cause it’s a Wild Child
Wild Child alright
And yet someone's gotta save him
From the “civilized” beast about to strike
He’s hungry
Wild Child alright
He’s fighting for his life
He’s hungry
Wild Child alright, whoa (easy there fella)

He sees a strange man
And realizes there's nowhere he can run
He sees a gloved hand
And wonders if he’s gonna have to lunge
He closes his eyes
This is just such a bad situation
… but all the while
He hears a mob sneakin' up behind
He’s outta time

'Cause it’s a Wild Child
Wild Child alright
There ain't no second chance
to throw the net while he’s surprised
(Wild Child)
(Wild Child alright)
He’s fighting for his life
he’s hungry
Wild Child alright

Heavy footsteps fall
The rangers start to advance with a large cage
There's no escaping the reach of the world this time
(They're on every side)
They’re gonna force-change his life

They're out to get him
There's scientists wanting to explore his mind
They will process him
Out to change the nature of this child
It will take time
For them and him to edge closer together (slow)
But it will be alright
They'll turn him from wild to a human being
They'll get him clean

This is a Wild Child
Wild Child alright
But they can cure him more
Than any social worker would ever dare try
(Wild Child)
(Wild Child alright)
They’re gonna hold him tight
And deliver the
sedatives and painkillers
Wild Child appears alright

This is a Wild Child
Wild Child alright
But they can cure him more
Than any social worker would ever dare try
(Wild Child)
(Wild Child alright)
Gotta hold him tight
And deliver the
sedatives and painkillers

‘Cause it’s a Wild Child alright

[Rap]
Wildness dwells in the woodland
For those that know not the ways of man
Feral children scavenge in search of food
As close as suburban neighborhoods
And wherever they can be found
Civilization will always hunt them down
To face doctors intent on making them well
by spending their lives trapped in a hospital

It’s a Wild Child alright
(Wild Child, Wild Child)
It’s a Wild Child alright
(Wild Child alright, Wild Child)
It’s a Wild Child alright
Sleep, boy, it’s a Wild Child alright
Wild Child alright…

[Rap]
The push for research is in the air
Stacks of case studies over many years
Children moved from facility-to-facility
Always challenging their few abilities
And although they fight to remain alive
Their instincts are all still wild
Yes, no mere scientist can resist
the “mystery” of the Wild Child
