The Lyrics

Nighttime reflects all my dark emotions
Moonlight shines on storms from our devotion
Thunder wakes the senses, and lightning breaks defenses

Slowly, gently, tears unfurl the river
Which when it starts, my lips start to quiver
Hide myself away from our nature's furious way
Hide myself away from cold, unloving light
The world will feel my heartache of the night

Close my eyes and envision all the darkest dreams
Leave all thoughts of what love I knew ago
Close my eyes and let the floodgates start to flow
And I'll wish that I've never loved before

Faster, swifter, mem'ries start to plague me
Bright times, dark times, times I'll call with this plea:
Open up your eyes, let the memories just die
In this pasttime I wish I could go and fight
The world that feels my heartache of the night

And my mind starts a journey through this strange new world
Leave the past of the love I knew before
And my soul takes me where I long to be
Only now, no one will belong to me

Loving, dreaming love can last forever
Now I realize romance is a big lie
When our love began and our darkest sides gave in
The discovery of death to our lovelife
You'll feel it now, this heartache of the night

You alone could make my song take flight
It's over now, our music of the night...

Overall, a good parody. The problem is that parodies are supposed to be funny and NOT depressing. This is too depressing and not funny at all. I must say that the pacing of it is very good.
