(intro)

Made her up!

Big dreams kept on comin'
Carryin' on inside my head
Endless thoughts about this actress (Yeah!)
Remembered Weird Science, then I said
Man I think its a win , yeah

I heard it's just mind over matter
So I got her DNA went to town
Well I finished up last September
(What do you say ev'ryone!)
Ev'ry man they need her around, order now!
(Woah!)

I made Angelina
From this pri-mor-d'al goo
I've cloned Angelina
Girl I'm making more of you

Well Billy Bob he had the real one
(your turn!): "Ooh!, ooh!, ooh!"
My guarantee's they come anew
Now replicants do not bother me
Have a needy brother too? Order two!
(Buy 'em!)

I've cloned Angelina
Perfect eyes perfect boobs
I've cloned Angelina
Get your Jolies really soon

Those thighs! Angelina!

(solo)

ahh..ahh..ahh...
ahh..ahh..ahh...
Angelina ahh..ahh..ahh..
ahh..ahh..ahh...
Angelina

And UPS well they deliver
You'll get your clone in 'bout a week or two-
-(that's good news!)
Guys will thank me oh so much
(Making our day?)
You will get your taste of Angel food
That's overdue! (Yeah!)

I've cloned Angelina
Mr. Voight sorry dude!
I've cloned Angelina
Sir I find your daughter cute

I've cloned Angelina
(Oh! Sweet cones baby!)
She's a prize no refute
(Our thanks for coming through!)
Next is Cath'rine Zeta
(Oooh yeah!)
Lord I'm cloning that Welsh beaut!
Wooh! Wooh! yea-e-ah

Ah..Ev'ryone's gotta be cloned, gorgeous!

Speaking of cloning, here’s something to check out for those of you who have the possibility:

Lynard Skynard’s ”Simple Man” vs Scorpions ”Always somewhere”.

Thos two bands have/had totally different target audiences, so I guess it’s purely coincidental, and even if it’s not I don’t know who did that intro and used that main riff first. (I discovered it myself just a few weeks ago).

Great parody Red Ant, I'd say it's about as good as Spaff's...

Great parody, Ant! Well, since it's the live version that explains the extra phrases.

A clone, such a clone that I could cry, the one that I wanted! (With apologies to Brenda Lee.)

Sorrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyy Spellcheck Cop if I spelled it wrong
Tim Mayfield - July 30, 2005 - Report this comment
I find it hilarious that someone has to correct spelling on a misspelled band name that is itself misspelled. Why can't we just get Lynyrd Skynyrd to fix their mistake and then we can all get along.

Thanks all for the comments/votes. I thought this might get a few odd comments but about the band name spelling? To Spelling Cop: I didn't report your comment so I hope you didn't 111 me thinking I did.
Spelling Cop - July 31, 2005 - Report this comment
I know I posted a comment earlier. Where the hell'd it go??

Red Ant: I did not vote 1 1 1, as you spelled the band name correctly.
Red Ant - July 31, 2005 - Report this comment
Spelling Cop, either a moderator noticed it or it was reported and removed. Thanks for not 1 voting this.

To any others regarding the pacing differences vs the studio recording: Aside from the extra background vocals, the first and second lines of the second stanza in this live version (as sung by Charlie Daniels) are as follows:

I heard Neil Young singin' about her
I heard ole Neil kinda puttin' her down

The "ahh...ahh...ahh" part is a bit different as well.

Don't remember OS that well now...I DO remember that the girl I was seeing at the time of this Band's tragic plane crash had the "Street Survivors" album that came out just a little before the accident. It was kind of spooky to look at in retrospect...the front cover had a night scene that appeared to be some sort of riot...fire & flames rising behind and above the pictures of the band members. And my brother thought he noticed what appeared to be "halo's" hovering just above the heads of some band members...but only those who eventually were killed in the plane crash...ooo-eee-ooo....but wait, there's MORE...on the INSIDE of the the album cover was the band's upcoming Tour Schedule...one they never got to finish (I don't remember if the accident occurred before or duing the tour schedule....freaky stuff, huh? But WAIT...even MORE still...above the Tour Schedule Dates, in large print were the words "Have You Seen Us Live Lately?" Not kidding...I believe that album jacket was pulled off the market right after the accident and replaced with something else...would love to know if anyone still has it and might be able to confirm any or all of what I remember...boy, What a bummer if I was totally and completely blowing smoke, huh? Hey, alvin...you strike me as someone who MIGHT possess something like this....

if i give ya fives, will ya send me the formula ?
Red Ant - August 01, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks Paul (I think) for stopping by. Alvin: I can't reveal the formula but clones are now available for shipping. The darn UPS guys keep stealing them though so it may be a while...

Why bother? She's already cloning herself - in case you don't read the news.

Welcome to the Angelina-parody club, Red Ant, that now numbers 5 of us I think, and this is a most worthy addition - although "cute" does NOT do that temptress justice!! - imho - 555
Red Ant - August 03, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks 2Eagle, the answer there is simple: I didn't have "direct input" into making a new Angelina.

Thanks Stuart: Agreed, but "cute" fit the rhyme scheme and more importantly the site guidelines regarding racy content. The clones come free of charge at the moment but customs issues and Air-Freight charges to Australia might prevent you from seeing one for a while.=)
Spaff.com - August 11, 2005 - Report this comment
A parody of "Sweet Home Alabama" about having cloned a hot female celebrity? That's a brilliant idea! BRILLIANT!!!

Heh heh. I like your idea of turning this into a mail-order business. And "get your Jolies" is a wonderful punchline.
Red Ant - August 13, 2005 - Report this comment
Thanks Spaff, and you get an additional clone for noticing the "Jolies" line.=)
