The Lyrics

Another silly song...
Everyday I come home
a cacophony of sound
and my family all wonders
why I have to talk LOUD!
I had to speak up
said "HEY, THIS IS MY HOME!"
They could tell right away
To get off the cell phones

Get off the phones
Get off the phones
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I hate cell phones!

I broke a cell phone apart
to get my point through
I'll break them all dear family
before our contract renews
I want time with the family
A nice Quiet Zone
I'm tellin’ you family
to get off the cell phones

Get off the phones
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I hate cell phones!

I'll make my teenager beg
and I'll make my son a good deal
I'll make my old woman smile
with an new 4G appeal
I want time with the family
A nice Quiet Zone
I'm tellin’ you family
to get off the cell phones

I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I hate cell phones!

Now I talk when we eat
Share my day with some pride
Communication, sweet
the cell phones put aside
I want time with the family
A nice Quiet Zone
I'm tellin’ you family
to get off the cell phones

Get off the phones
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
I’m ma ma ma ma MAD!
(DAMN!) I hate cell phones!

Nice parody Rob! 555! :-) I also am working on a parody of this song that has to do with phones, but I think I'll keep the title a secret for now.... ;-)

This is an ideal theme song for us anti-cell phoners.

I am 47 yrs old and near death. In my lifetime I have only had 5 cell phones since 1996!!! One Motorola, 2 Nokias, 1 Pantech, and 1 Samsung!!! The first was a walkie-talkie type that I kept in my car that people freaked out with when they used it! The 2 Nokias were slimlines. The Pantech was my first flip-phone and my new Samsung has all modern features. But I only use it for when I am out and about for talking or to call 911 in an emergency away from my home. I hate people with cells glued to their ears and those speaker types where someone appears to be talking to themselves!!! I collect old phones too and my faves are the rotaries that still work... but no touch tone features!
