The Lyrics

From the people who brought you the terror of Wednesday and the horror of Friday comes the most horrifying, terrifying day ever, the day invented just to make the rest of the week seemed good... MONDAY!
Woke up from his bed on a good morning
To have a big stack for breakfast
Jon's making some blueberry pancakes
Nothing's still at risk
But Sunday was just over
Jon forgot to tear a page
Off the calender
If so, this revealed the fact that
Garfield hates Mondays, but hardly stops his appetite
This was the worst day in a week, things went uptight
Garfield hates Mondays, a flying cream pie hits his face
This was the worst day in a week, what a disgrace

Odie's head was stuck in a bottle
While Jon faces a challenge
Look to la cat who's in trouble
And must deal with revenge
The best of his worst nightmares
Would combine for some horror
That he could suffer
Pals and gals, believe in the fact that
Garfield hates Mondays, that's when a safe falls from the sky
This was the worst day in a week, he would act shy
Garfield hates Mondays, even the weekend's over
This was the worst day in a week, he would sober

You guys had remembered the fact that
Garfield hates Mondays, but hardly stops his appetite
This was the worst day in a week, things went uptight
Garfield hates Mondays, a flying cream pie hits his face
This was the worst day in a week, what a disgrace
Garfield hates Mondays, that's when crates fall from the sky
This was the worst day in a week, he would act shy
Garfield hates Mondays, even the weekend's over
This was the worst day in a week, he would sober
Garfield hates Mondays, but hardly stops his appetite...

Ughh, what horrible pacing..especially in the chorus. And the content doesn't seem to be that good either. I think I'll give it 2's.

If you had put the comma between words "day" and "in" in those choruses, you would have made out better and it would have almost been paced. But I like Garfield a whole lot and I actually like this song you wrote. I have both Garfield movies. One I taped from TV and the second one on DVD. I loved that "flying cream pie hits his face" line though!
