Then I fell on my butt and I gasped out for some air

Hear the hum of diesel, smoke coming off the stack
She's switching up the gear and hitting on her way

Trucker's work is quite hard but she is used to it
She did her fair share of the IT business s**t
Her husband is now doing all the white-collar stuff
She just did decide that she's had it quite enough

Now people claim I'm dyke 'cause I drive a Dodge Ram van
Girl behind the wheel can be hard to understand
She really broke the barrier of the judgemental crowd
So let's now hear that horn played aloud!
My grandpa was a trucker and my grand uncle too
Perhaps it is the work that I should also do!
