Donald Trump claims to be really smart
But a smart leader would unite us, not drive us apart.
Instead, he does things that offend;
Not just one time, but again and again.

We’ve watched Trump enough to have learned
Behaving honorably has never been his concern.
Either he’s making a fuss
Or he’s throwing someone under the bus.

Since his debut Trump’s disrupted our world.
He’s bullied and belittled more people than a mean girl.
He’s blustered, acted uncouth,
Fueled bigotry, and undermined truth.

Trump’s life has been a masquerade,
A slew of alternative facts and financial charade.
Taxes that he won’t discuss;
Women he’s paid to hush.

Trump's been quite insistent
Vote fraud is persistent
So he can cast doubt
On elections where he's lost out.

Trump calls the mainstream press “fake news”
To discredit what they report about him and his views.
He panders to the right wing
So their base will praise him and kiss his ring.

Trump’s not shy about speaking his mind,
Especially when he’s aggrieved and has an ax to grind.
And should he be forced to adjust
He may back down but won’t admit that he must.

Skirt-chasing's what Trump loves
And bragged he’s done lots of.
To him, it’s not wrong
‘Cause when you’re a star, chicks go along.

And should Trump get in trouble his goal
Is to ensure he’s not held accountable for his role;
So he lawyers up and denies
He’s at fault or bound by laws he’s defied.

Of all our leaders, Trump’s off the chart.
No other President has lied as much right from the start.
He misled our populace
While the toll rose from coronavirus.

Trump has stoked animus.
A mob he incited stormed Congress.
If we want public trust,
We need statesmen, not an ornery cuss.
