For all he's done, we are indebted
Will we dismember, his dreams turn to embers
When counting's done, the votes he's netted
Promises tendered in speeches, September
Who would vote some unknown and callow fellow?

Their health care plan, so long in waiting
Back to their seats in the month post December
They will return, resume debating

While jobless rates conspire to choke us
When needs of our nation require concentration
