Parody Song Title:

"(Snitchin' Songs) Off Of LimeWire"

Parody Written by:

Aaron Dodson

The Lyrics

I've got less cash than a homeless dude
And album prices keep gettin' higher
So I know what I must do:
Get my iPod and my FireWire

Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer

The RIAA may get screwed
But their profit loss will not be dire
A great deal of money they can lose
"Till Chapter 11 is required

Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer

The time for my download is through
Now I'm jammin' to the pirated choir
So $5 they may lose
But they've already got enough to retire

Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer, yeah

I've got less cash than a homeless dude
And album prices keep gettin' higher
So I know what I must do:
Get my iPod and my FireWire

Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
Snitchin' songs off of Limewire
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer
"Cause I ain't no new tune buyer

preachin' to the converted here, Aaron - I was just about to do a Limewire tribute song, but now it would be old news - great job - 555

Good stuff, Aaron, although I found the pace slightly balky (the first line and where it's repeated, really). 4-5-5

Like Paul, I struggled a bit with the pacing, Aaron...but the humour was all there. 455

Aaron, FYI - it just occurred to me...if you had left "I've" off to start that line it would work just fine...there were still a few other places, but that was the most obvious...the first line, gotta be on the money there...
