Parody Song Title:

"Change My Tire"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I've done the Beatles and Led Zeppelin.......so why not the Doors?
My car is in real good shape,
No engine stall or faulty wire,
But my wheels all have holes,
Can't get the pressure any higher,

Come'on please and change my tire,
Lift my car and change my tire,
'Cause I need a brand new tire!

Don't want a really bumpy ride,
On a highway that would be real dire,
So Goodyear won't you get that jack,
Don't con me now, don't be a liar,

Come'on please and change my tire,
Lift my car and change my tire,
'Cause I need a brand new tire!

(lengthy solo)

Don't want a really bumpy ride,
On a highway that would be real dire,
So Goodyear won't you get that jack,
Don't con me now, don't be a liar,

Come'on please and change my tire,
Lift my car and change my tire,
'Cause I need a brand new tire!

My car is in real good shape,
No engine stall or faulty wire,
But my wheels all have holes,
Can't get the pressure any higher,

Come'on please and change my tire,
Lift my car and change my tire,
'Cause I need a brand new tire!

Time for a change!

The original was from the 60s, not the 70s. But it was a good parody anyway. I often have to change the tires on my police car.
