Parody Song Title:

"Don't Step on my Wings"

Parody Written by:

Adagio

The Lyrics

Don't step on wings or you're in danger
Poop on you smugly when you're alone.
People are wicked when bird's unwanted
They get even when bird's are down.

Bird's got mange
Must get rid of his brain
He's deranged
No one remembers you're lame
On the range
On the range
On the... range.

Don't step on wings or you're in danger
Poop on you smugly when you're alone.
People are wicked when bird's unwanted
They get even when bird's are down.

Bird's got mange
Must get rid of his brain
He's deranged
No one remembers you're lame
On the range
On the range
On the... range.

Not deranged
Turkeys have broken their chain
They're not strange
I will remember your name
'Cos you've changed
On that range
There is change.

There is change
Now you can soar like a plane
O'er that range
I will remember your name
'Cos you've changed
On that range
There is change.

Bird's got mange
Must get rid of his brain
He's deranged
No one remembers you're lame
On the range
On the range
On the... range

Cute song, in a wierd kind of way. =)

It's OK. 'Poop on you smugly' was funny, but nothing else really struck me. And for some reason the sub 'Must get rid of his brain' being a syllable short really bugs me. 'The MANGE in BRAIN stays MAIN-ly on the RANGE'

Thanks Diva and 2nz.

Adagio - I like the "weirdness" here. 5-5-5. A little bit of a different twist for you in this one.

I see Agrimorfee as the kid in the emperor's new clothes. I'm also sorry, but this just so bites! Too repetitive and the content matter is about as cute as a decomposing kookaburra. 5-3-3
Adagio - June 10, 2004 - Report this comment
Thanks Johnny, Melhi and Luke.

Pat, you're strange
Writing 'bout birdies with mange
You're deranged

Adagio, This was a real good one. Saw Spaff's remark tonight and thought I ought to check it out. Had already voted on it back in may. Exactly one month ago. Hmmm...seems my memory really is falling apart in some places...
Adagio - June 18, 2004 - Report this comment
Spaff, thanks! I was going to say, "What happened to my nickname?" (It's cute) , but further down the comments you used it again.

I guess I have this thing about flying...birds or planes...not afraid of them...they represent freedom to me, especially when I see birds, which I love.

Thanks a lot for stopping by again, Paul! Memory going? Ok, as long as you don't get mange. :D

Still strange, but funner the second time around. Strange and deep seem to go hand in hand in your parodies, or maybe I just don't get it so I THINK it's really deep. Either way, that extra syllable doesn't bother me so much now. Good job, Adagio.
