"Merry Christmas, Starling"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Recipes have been perused
I'm cooking up a stew
And it ain't cornish hens I bake
As I'm thinking of you......

Merry Christmas, Starling
We're apart that's true
But I can dream you're in whipped cream
I'm licking it from you

Holidays are tasty
I always cook a stew
I get a dish of hollandaise
And think of chewing you
The lights in my head
Blink green, blue and red
They flicker merrily
Looking at fire fills me with desire
To eat you with Chianti

You're a dish, you, Clarisse Starling
And a true dear, too
I've just one wish on this Christmas Eve
I wish I could taste you

(Interlude)

Looking at fire fills me with desire
To eat you with Chianti
You're a dish, you, my dear Starling
And a true dear, too
I've just one wish on this Christmas Eve
I wish I could taste you
Wish you were in my stew

Merry Christmas,
Merry, Christmas, Starling.

555, great, great parody, Royce, I love it!!

Wow, what a pair of coincidences today!

First Guy posts "Tight Christmas" whose title made it sound like a "holiday 'spirits' " parody kind of similar to my "O Stoli Night" parody today.....

..... and now, I find your wonderful parody "Merry Christmas, Starling", which turns out to be on the same "human-culinary" theme as my parody today called "Soylent Green" .... great minds (all present company included) once again all think alike! ;-)

Well done, Royce. Some very good lines, particularly the whipped cream line.
