If a man says he is innocent
When he commits a crime,
If found to be at fault,
Then he should do some time.

If this man was once a president
Whose bid to stand has stalled,
Were he to rise again,
Then Heaven help us all.

The charges come, now total thirty four,
And there are still some more to come.

If a man would only bring himself to know
Just when to stop,
Then he should go away, and that should be today.
If the world outside the States is worried that this man is free
To fool the world again,
We’re in for lots more pain.

But one day soon the truth will all come out,
And we can hope he simply fades away.
