The Lyrics

A friend once said to me "I don't drink any more. ....of course, I don't drink any less, either."
Your life is such a bummer, you can see it going fast
So you grab a can of Miller cause you're out to have a blast
Well you wouldn't know a time bomb if it blew up in your face
The bucks you spend on alcohol is a giant waste

Are you feelin' all the beers, floatin' away your mind
Are you hangin' around at "Cheers", do you drink just to unwind?
Are you feelin' all the beers, floatin' away your mind
Are you hangin' around at "Cheers", do you drink just to unwind?

You've been buying stuff illegally since you were seventeen
You always threw great parties every year at Halloween
You somehow always managed to "maintain" when in a car
I don't know how you did it after hours in a bar

Are you feelin' all the beers, floatin' away your mind
Are you hangin' around at "Cheers", do you drink just to unwind?
Are you feelin' all the beers, floatin' away your mind
Are you hangin' around at "Cheers", do you drink just to unwind?

You spent a lot of money and you even did some time
You say you're just escaping from you daily little grind
After all the things you did I see you've found another can
I think that you are useless and a nasty man

Are you feelin' all the beers, floatin' away your mind
Are you hangin' around at "Cheers", do you drink just to unwind?
Are you feelin' all the beers, floatin' away your mind
Are you hangin' around at "Cheers", do you drink just to unwind?
Lecture over.

After beer 2525 it's time to pay a visit to the steely can. 555 cases of Billy Beer. Which today would probably be worth $$millions to collectors.

Rick D - Well, as they used to say in the "Old Milwaukee" Beer commericals, "It just doesn't get any better than this". When that ad came on my Brother David would look at me in mock-panic and blurt "It DOESN't" and point a finger like a gun into his ear and go "boom". I'd like this one even if I was still drinking.

Rick, there ya go again. Why don't you mention the positives of beer chugging? You'll pick up the hottest babes - but be too drunk to drive (or drive); Friends will ask you when the baby's due (and you're a guy); Our word of the day ?- HANGOVERS!, You forget your problems, your address, your name...the '90s; and best of all you get to become a drunken a-hole who always seems to pick fights with the wrong people...Everybody. 5-5-5
