The Lyrics

For those across the pond who haven't heard the name, David Cameron is the new Bright Young Thing of the Tory party: a young, energetic, "modernizing" leader who is extremely good at sounding like he's saying the right thing, but we're going to have to wait for months or even years before he'll start putting some of his "principles" into actual policies people might be able to vote for.
Now Dave's the kind of guy
Who moves from left to right
In terms of popularity
He's higher than a kite
One day he says he's heir to Blair
The next it's outright war
But I'm afraid I can't work out
What the hell he stands for

He's David Cameron
Duh! David Cameron
He witters on and on and on and on and on

Well, he's David "Call me Dave", and reckons
He's a people's man
Maybe, about as much as any
Old Etonian
He's taken o'er the Tories
Leading them a merry dance
Maybe because his surname is
An anagram of "Romance"

He's David Cameron
He'll turn the glamour on
But he goes on and on and on and on and on

Well, I know that he's a Tory
But he sounds like he's Lib-Dem
Will he go down in his-tory
As the country's first Con-Lab-Liberal PM?

'Cause Cameron is a guy
Who has nothing much to fear
Because he's telling everyone
Just what they want to hear
But nothing that's specific
Comes out from his iv'ry tower
I wonder what he'd do, that is
If he ever got into power

He's David Cameron
The Gotterdammerung
And he goes on and on and on and on and on
He's David Cameron
Just hear him yammer on
Yes he goes on and on and on and on and on
He's David Cameron
The glammy Cameron
And he goes on and on and on and on and on

Gotterdammerung, what a rhyme, I had to look it up, apparently the same as Ragnarok, must mean that D.C is the guy to take us back to B.C I guess.

We have a guy like that here. Name was John Kerry. On the record, a constituent sent him a letter saying he supported the war, and received a response from JK saying how staunchly he too did; same constituent sent him another letter opposing the war, and Kerry sent him a letter saying how staunchly he too opposed it. The two were eleven days apart.

Love the OS; sharp to spot the anagram; the countries and names change, but in two thousand years the poeple haven't. Five. No, One. Wait, Three. Hmm, Four. On fourth thought, Two. On the other hand.....
