The Lyrics

I got a little fired up when I saw that Claude Prez considered the original "Bro Rhap" one of the top 200 or so parodies in the annals of Amiright. So now I will try to top myself with a sequel featuring even more "brocabulary", especially in operatic stanzas. First two stanzas will be about the same as original Bro Rhap...... As before, I am the youngest of 5 brothers, so this is a sort of kid brother lament. Some of you kid brothers may be able to relate
Is this the bro's life
Is this fraternity
Caught in some brostrife
No escape from brotality
Flush out your brain
Dial back on the names and see
I'm just the kid bro, I get no dignity
Cause I'm the youngest son, youngest bro
Little shy, little slow
Anytime at all, Bros, doesn't really matter
To me ....

Mama, just punched a bro
Put a fist upside his head
Made his lip all bloody red
Mama, fight has just begun
But now he's gone and thrown me to the floor
Mama, oooooh, didn't mean to make you cry
If I haven't spoofed this line this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on
Because it didn't really matter

Too late, the fight is done
Sends snivels down my spine
Voice is breaking like mangine
Goodbye everybody, I've had it, Bros
Gonna leave this thing, this so-called brotherhood
Mama, oooooh , I'm your little guy
Sometimes I wish I'd never had bros at all

(Cue staccato piano riff signaling start of "broperatic" stanzas of song)

I see a mis'rable sibling-etto of a bro
Broda Douche, Broda Douche, will you do the right thang, Bro
Arguing and fighting very, very frightening me
What the hey, Bro (What the hey, Bro)
What the hey, Bro (What the hey, Bro)
What the hey, Bro, Figar-Bro
C3P-BRO!! ... (Bro .. Bro .. Bro)

I'm just The Brolet, nobody loves me
He's just The Bronchkin, from a brogue family
Spare him his psyche from this brotesquerie
Easy Brah, easy Bro, will you stop it, Bro
Brosmillah!* NO! We will not stop it, Bro (STOP IT, BRO!)
Brosmillah! We will not stop it, Bro (STOP IT, BRO!)
Brosmillah! We will not stop it, Bro (STOP IT, BRO!)
Will not stop it, Bro (STOP IT, BRO!)
Never stop it, Bro (STOP IT, BRO!)
Never stop it, Bro (STOP IT, BRO!)
BRO! BRO! BRO! BRO! BRO! BRO!
Hermano Mio! Hermano Mio!
Hermano mio, stop it, Bro
The elder sib is the devil in disguise for me
For me, For me-e-e-e-e-e-e!

So you think you can brone me and put me to trial
So you think you can dog me in brolshevik style
Oh Brosif, Can't keep doing this to me, Brosif
Just cut it out, just cut it out right here and now

Nothing tweaks my bladder
Really pisses me
Nothing tweaks my bladder
Nothing makes me madder
Than he-e-e-e-e-e.

(Any time at all, Bros ....)

*Brosmillah -- short for "Brosmillah Brallah, al Brahman al Brohim" which is the first line recited by the followers of Brohammed in their daily brostrations. (Stop me before I brocab again)

Brolshevik -- member of a group that believes all the means of seduction should be held by The Broletariat. Renowned for their use of bropaganda, which combines elements of distortion and relentless brovocation

There would be a brochure for brohemianism joke in this comment if only I could come up with one. I'm going broke on 555s, but you get one anyway bro!

Peter, my brothers and I were ahead of the power curve when it came to bro-punning. We actually called our brotherhood "The Brosa Nostra". We all had Bro names too. The oldest was "Bro Magnum" because he was the first, the proto-bro. Then came "Bro Chi Minh", because he was anti Vietnam war. Then came "Brobspierre", because he was a ruthless bastard, especially in business. Then there was "Cesar Bromero", because he did a lot of business in Mexico. And then they tried at first to call me "My Little Brony" because I was the youngest (and, of course, because they were @ssh*les) but I insisted that they call me "The Bronchkin" .... Of course, if you ask any of them about this they'll deny it, but only because the "Code of Bromerta" demands silence

If I could give you 10's for this, I would. I don't always laugh out loud at parodies, as good as many of them are. This one cracked me up at least three times, and I smiled all the way through. And looking at the previous comments, I think you started a trend...bro! Awesome job! The 1's, 2's and 3's are wayyy off, IMHO. As I mentioned in my comments on your Louis Louis - why haven't you done more than three? More of the good stuff! Brotastic! P.S. I'm assuming "Bronchkin" is a compromise of "Brony". Bronchkin's much better. "More, please" -Broliver (from the Charles Brokens novel, "Broliver", and now a musical!)

I have a real knack for this song. Some of my best parodies are of this song. See "Gollumian Rhapsody" and "If Queen had Performed Hamlet" ........... This is a good song to parody. It's recognized by everybody and it has a very unique and strong opening. Get a good sub for the opening lines and you're off and running

CML - so sorry for using the comments section on one of your entries to ask this (I figured since I already commented on Brohemian Rhapsody, you might be okay with it), but I didn't know how else to present my inquiry: I think I missed something about this newest challenge. I was waiting for the next One Week Notice challenge, then all of these oldies parodies popped up this morning. I knew it couldn't be a coincidence, but I hadn't seen anything about it on the site. Then I read some reviews, and saw a comment about a Beatles Reality challenge. Is this a thing, and why couldn't I find anything on it? You're kind of my go-to guy on the amiright site, if that's okay (that'll learn ya not to talk to newbies!). Hoping you can set me straight on this. Thanks, Bro-migo.

Is that what happened? I personally didn't know about it, so my entry is pure coincidence. I can tell you that what happened today was extraordinary. Several people who I haven't seen in years posting Beatles tunes, and nine Beatles tunes in all -- haven't seen anything like this in the six years I've been posting here. Obviously something was organized here, but I dont know how. Ask the usual suspects -- Agrimorfee or Claude Prez or Matthias because they do organize things and they did post Beatles parodies today

Hey, CML. Do you know if there's an area for parodies of jingles? I submitted two jingle parodies, prior to my last one, "Rest in Me", and since they haven't been added to the current submissions, I was wondering if parodies that are too short either just aren't posted, or if there's a "special" place for them on this site. Thanks, man. Have a paro-day!

They used to be accepted until 2017, Bradster, but no longer. Look at the bold face type on the Submissions Page. It's spelled out for you, right there. If it had been a snake, it would have bitten you
