We live the wise life,
And we're fat as can be.
Dumped in a landfill,
On the take are judiciary.
One through the eye, Mo Green like did die,
Hooked up with the wisery.
We seek out poor boys and give them dignity,
We may seem easy some, cross us no,
Livin' high, foot-print low,
Anything with sin goes,
In all business matters you see, for fee.

Drama, we chill and can,
You get dumb, we bust your head,
Mess our figgers, wind up dead.
Mamas, wives and aunts with sons,
They like the things we own and hold their say.
Commas, O O and O stand for green in a long line,
And you'll get whacked if not on time what's borrowed.
Carrion, dinner's on, in dumping grounds they gather.

"Too Late", some time he's done,
He splintered some guy's spine,
Balding, aging but still prime.
Good guys find the bodies in dumps we throw,
We don't leave nothing at all to trace for proof.
Trauma, ooh, ooh-ooh ooh, if you're one of wise,
Do some crimes which on devils whose born to fall.

We play some Russian roul-a-lette-o when we can,
Spare a noose, spare a noose, and we'll hang a damn pinko.
Shock with volts like lightning,
Movin' un-inviting-ly.
There's no way-o, on our clay-o
we don't play-o, If no pay-o,
Mess with dagos, and you'll know, "Mangles" and "Joe" oh uh-oh.
We got our chore boys, they'll rub you out, see.
We are not poor boys, we have our family,
Spare not a life of a sworn enemy.
Sleezy bums, "Easy Joe" he won't let them go,
He's killah yo! he will shot them dead so.
(Shoot them so) He's killah.
He will shot them dead so.
(Shoot them yo!) Will shot them dead so.
(Shoot them yo!) Will shot them dead so.
(Shoot them so!), Ah
Ah no, ah no, ah no no
(Oh mama mia, mama mia)
Mama mia, say dagos.
Got "Nails" and "Stub" who will level up a shooting spree,
A spree-e-e a spree!

Those who think that their cronies can hit on the fly,
They will wind up all bloody and left hung to dry.
No maybes, we don't play 'round with maybes,
It's what we're about, just what we're about ovah 'eah.

No ones really badder, check our history,
No ones really badder
No ones really badder you see.

Just watch how the wind blows.

magnificent...perhaps the best of your mob songs and THAT is saying something

Only one criticism, Guy:

"One through the eye, Mo Green like did die,/ Hooked up with the wisery."

doesn't scan with:

"Open your eyes; look up to the sky/and see"

That one clunker aside, this was tip-top mob humor, and some great syllable matching. 555 (just)

Sir John,Grazie il voluttà è permi.

Alvin - Thanks, 90% of this was written without consulting any online dictionaries to include rhymezone.com - tomorrow is re-Bates day. I do the same OS for our friend Norman and the dictionaries were largely ignored on the Bates job as well. BR is about my favorite OS to parody. It is so versatile and everybody knows this song. I thoroughly enjoyed writing this one.

Kristof - You caught me in mid comment. I knew something was wrong with those lines but I just couldn't get my head wrapped around it. I convinced myself it was alright but now I see the error. I guess I just had a "sometimers" moment. This is easily enough fixed and if I ever decide to use this in a comp I will edit and resubmit. Thanks for the point out. I'm sure my next BR won't have this flaw.

My pleasure M'Lady to have bestowed upon thee such prized and fond memories of great moving pictorials of yesteryear. At your service and for your pleasure another movie memory parody will come forth on the morrow. I beg leave of M'Lady presently. 'Til the morrow then.

Guy, you are the "Don" of the wise-guy parody.

JD - Thanks old friend. I can remember when you were new to the site that I gave you pointers on how to deal with this OS. You were a good student and have rapped out several yourself that were way top notch. BR has always been a favorite of mine. The day I found this site I had 11 parodies written and dropped them onto the site on May 26, 2003 and one of them was a BR. Would you be up for a BR comp on the message boards? Not sure if that has ever been tried but it could be interesting.

Invisaboy - I am now a made man - you have called me Don. Thanks for making me bullet proof, at least for the most part. I will impart a small tribute of some of my interests toward your family business as a token of my esteem. Grazie.e ciao.

Very good title and excellent work with a difficult OS.

Pip - Thanks my southern star friend.

JJ - Thanks, but for some reason I have a quite easy time with this OS. This and "Come Together" are two of my most favorite songs to parody.

And to all commenters - you all have been most gracious by letting me slide on the obvious error I made on verse 1 lines 6 & 7. I am in all of your debt.
