Parody Song Title:

"Pillsbury Dough"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

I love to cook, but I hate it when anyone else is in my kitchen.......
Poking at that Pillsbury dough
I could see that muffin rise
In the pan it was to go
Suddenly developed eyes
Stood right up and looked at me
Thought someone was playing games
Then I heard a high "hee-hee"
"Poppin Fresh" told me his names
My heart began it's palpitation
Must have been my wild imagination
My head going 'shroom 'shroom 'shroom
"Man" I said "Must have eaten
One bad one of those"

I took up cooking for the peace
Needed hobbies for my nerves
Looking at that pan I greased
I just wanted bread to serve
Now I got this little dude
Smiling big wearing a hat
Didn't want to be too rude
But thought he was kind of fat
I thought cameras were somewhere near
My reaction for all to see and hear
My head thinking, broom, broom, broom
"Where?" I said "Need to find it,
Need to beat someone

Yeah, someone

Finally dealt with pastry guy
Shoved him in and set the dial
Watched the temp'rature get high
Saw him lose that silly smile
Soon the screams faded away
In the oven he would bake
Got more dishes on the way
Had the other food to make
Today I made a big decision
I guess I watch too much television
My mind going room, room, room
"Hey" I said, "I just need to clear
My brain from T.V. ads"

Yeah, those ads

DKTOS but it reads well and is a funny idea, if not a little deranged. 5s

P: (in a high pitched voice:) Hee hee! This was fun, Rick! I don't like other people in my kitchen when I cook, either... hadn't considered stuffing them in the oven when they bother me, anyway... hmmm... ;)

(ABC) Rick - Really funny stuff. I had the out-loud chuckles from "Shroom, shroom, shroom" all the way through. 5's Haven't read too many others for "P" round but this is in the mixing bowl right now.

Rick, I enjoyed this very much, based on one of my favorite songs. Have always wanted to parody it, instead I shall give up! Well done!

And you wondered what those little white lines on my kitchen table were? It was flour, okay! Just don't look in my oregano bottles.

Methinks the Pillsbury Doughboy wasn't the only one who got baked during the creation of this tale. Nice one, RAD. And based on a true story, no doubt.

( ABC 2004 Winners) DKTOS, but really...where do you get your imagination? :D From the 'shrooms, 'shrooms, 'shrooms? lol

(ABCfinals) LMAO. This is actually a very good theory on how they came up with the Pillsbury doughboy.
