The Lyrics

What else can I say but "Enjoy the parody"? Oh, and just in case you DKTOS...
He’s blastin’ through those Zones and he’s always runnin’ faster,
He grabs those Emeralds at each turn because he is the master,
He don’t need money, don’t take fame, don’t need no credit cards now,
By the time the Doctor’s caught up, the Blue Blur is in Moscow!

Well, Sonic’s runnin’ faster; he’s so lean and mean!
And he’s got some extra lives to face reality!
He don’t care about the rules ‘cause he’s so wild and free, yeah!
And he don’t just waste his time; he makes his destiny!

Yeah, he travels so fast; he beats the clocks!
He’s got a best friend, a two-tailed fox!
His foes all try to blow him away,
But Sonic’s runnin’ faster every day!
You know what I’m talkin’ about, baby?

Livin’ in the fast lane, he’s always sayin’ he won’t slow down,
His friends and him been kickin’ some butt through every city, village and town,
Got all the Emeralds, now it’s time for him to become Super,
He’s got his sights set straight ahead and he’s raisin’ hell like Trooper!*

Well, Sonic’s runnin’ faster; he’s so dang lean and mean!

And he’ll catch you, baby!
He’ll outrun everybody!
Aw, come on, man!

[guitar solo]

Sonic’s runnin’ faster, baby; he’s so lean and mean!

His foes all try to blow him away, bop bop bop, yeah!
Sonic’s runnin’ faster every day!
*-Refers to a Canadian rock band called Trooper, who had a hit with "Raise a Little Hell".

They say one of the fundamentals of comedy is the incongruent match. Not many things more dischordant than Sonic and.Molly Hatchett

Now maybe you could do one about Mario.

CML: Actually, I thought the song's fast tempo was a good match for Sonic's speedy nature. Maximus: I did one a couple of decades ago. It's a parody of Dschinghis Khan's "Samurai".
