The Lyrics

I'm gonna be blunt, I think pop music from the past few years (read: 2008-present) REALLY SUCKS, with few exceptions. That's not the reason why I haven't done a lot of parodies of recent pop songs, however. It's just that I find it easier to parody my favorites. That being said, enjoy the parody! DKTOS?
Baby, when you Call Me Maybe,
See, that ain’t so good, no it ain’t so good
Baby, don’t you Call Me Maybe,
It don’t sound good, so not good

With a little bit of AC/DC,
And a little bit of Black Sabbath,
And a little bit of Led Zeppelin, hey,
You know it makes me feel, baby…
Makes me feel back on the ground

Won’t you stop this madness?
Don’t Shake It Off, just Shake It Up
I’m in love with your body,
Not the Shape of You, and you know, too

With a little bit of Village People, people,
And a little bit of Dschinghis Khan,
Whoo, just a little bit of Meco Monardo, yeah
It makes me feel, makes me feel…
Got my feet on the ground

[guitar solo]

Ooh, now baby, if you’re Bad and Boujee,
That won’t do you good, that’s no good
And I’m so mad, so mad, so mad, so mad,
‘Cause I’m so Bad, I’m Nationwide

With a little bit of John Lee Hooker,
Just a little bit of Parliament, yeah
And a little bit of “Weird Al” Yankovic,
It makes me feel, makes me feel…
Makes me feel back on the ground
Oh, yes it sure does
It makes me feel, hey yeah…
Back on the ground
Suarez!
Suarez!
Baby baby, you can keep my feet on the ground
I’m feelin’ better! [x4]

I’m feelin’ better!
Sha la la la la, sha la la la la

[repeat until fade]
Stuff that bears explanation:

1-Dschinghis Khan is a German disco/pop group best known for their 1979 hit "Moskau". I've parodied some of their other songs, too.
2-Dominic "Meco" Monardo is an American musician best known for doing a disco version of the "Star Wars" theme.
