Parody Song Title:

"Episode VII"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

There's a boy, well a man
Who's a real Star Wars fan
And he's trying for Episode VII
Of success, he's not sure
He's not acted before
But he knows that the Force will be with him
Ooh, ooh, and he's trying for Episode VII

In his daydreams he thinks
He could play Jar Jar Binks
'Cause you know some guys are that annoying
And what underhand scam'll
Let him replace Mark Hamill
Sometimes all of us want to be Jedi

Ooh, The Force Awakens
Ooh, The Force awakens

Has a dream (not a plan):
Be the ghost Obi-Wan
After all, Alec Guinness has snuffed it
Though that may cause some rancour
Can't have any old Obi-Wan Ke
Nobi.. George Lucas is disgusted

Ooh, The Force Awakens
Ooh, and the Force awakens

So he won't be ignored
Kidnaps Harrison Ford
Though that's so low, it's rather like treason
Claims that he'd be a cracker
Playing the aging Chewbacca
Making Pete Mayhew helpless with laughter.

If there's explosions in your Death Star, don't be alarmed now
It's just a setback for Anakin
Yes, there are two paths to the Dark Side, but choose the wrong one
There's no time to make a clone of him

And the Force Awakens

Sequel is coming and it won't blow, in case you don't know,
There's actors queuing up to join in
George Lucas employing a tyro is a no-no
His entrée comes from assass'nating

And now George Lucas on the phone
Who's saying "no, he can't be Yo-
Da, or Obi-wan Keno-
Bi and surely not Han So-
Lo or even Luke Skywo-
Llker or Leia Organ..o
R2-D2 or Mace Windu
No shi-, er, Sith no not Darth Maul
To be ewok, or just a clone

And he's trying for Episode VII

Hi Jeff :-D Good to see you're still in the land of the living, even if not writing so much these days. Yes, I'm still writing (though more original material than parody, so fewer get on to amiright), and performing a lot more. I even run a comedy night, now (well, I've got to have somewhere to try out the new stuff).
