The Lyrics

I posted a shorter version of this several weeks ago, but I botched some of the vocabulary. This time I believe I've got it right, but I got a little carried away. cholo/a: person of mixed race (Andean Spanish slang); lola: tit; cola: fag (Chilean slang); vestido: dress; polla: c*ck; apasionada: opera lover; bufo: homosexual (Argentine slang); polo: pole; flor: flower; ropa: clothes; botas: boots; lo: masculine direct-object pronoun; la: feminine DO pronoun; bolas/pelotas: balls; bolsas: sacks; dolo: fraud; bolo: drunkard (Cent. American slang); ¡Con este vestido, vas a tumbar bolo!: "You'll knock them out in that dress!"
In Mexico you rub elbows with cholos
With their thick gams shaved; in a fake voice high
They say, "¡Hola!"
H-O-L-A, hola.
They walk like they ought to be wearing some pants,
They don't look like dames,
And in the dark you feel boys with lolas,
L-O-L-A, lolas.

Well, it turned out they were Chilean guys
Who are pleased to dress like girls, at least they're tryin',
But not colas,
Co-co-co-co colas.
No soy loco, pero no comprendo
Why each wears a vestido
And they amend so
With fake lolas, faux, faux, faux lolas;
Camouflaging pollas.

With their fat gams shaved, they don't dance light,
Under their dress, handles held tight.
When they sit down and then they cross their knees--
Antithesis of femininity.

They don't look like apasionadas
How they swagger, I'd see them in opera buffas. . .laugh librettos.
In the argot lingo of the Argentinos,
They might be called bufos who misuse their polos.

They put on play,
There is no ardor,
Though each sports a flor.
They yell up to high C.
But you look at "her" and you see "he."

One went astray when he put in his stays,
And now his nay-nays are moving sideways,
For this "chola," he's swaying sans lolas.
These boys giving it a whirl as girls,
But when they fixed up their hair to put in curls,
They used no rollers,
Though they've got nice ropa and sport spike-heeled botas.

Well they'd left home just a week before,
And they'd never ever dressed as women before.
Their lolas needed to be better planned
So they would not sag down, rather proudly stand.

So now I'm rethinking masculine nouns
Men in gowns, so use what direct-object pronoun?
¿To go with lo, la,
Lo, la, lo, la, lo, la?
Hold up the low lolas.
Lolas give them roles as cholas who show no pistolas.
Rollers--they rolled as futbolers, who hoped to hear "Goa-oa-oa-oa-oal-a!"
Bolas--they've stowed their pelotas and stones in their bolsas.
Although their dolo clearly shows, there's a bolo who crows:
"¡Bueno! ¡Con este vestido, vas a tumbar bolo!"
