Back in the 1950s homosexuality was thought of as a mental illness which we now know that it is not; however, we live in such times of sexual hedonism that we take the opposite absurd view- that everyone who chooses to live a homosexual lifestyle must have been born that way. Historically, that is incorrect as there have been cultures both for and against it. In most of the world even today homosexuality is an abomination that can get one disowned, hurt, or even killed. Only in North America and Europe is the practice celebrated. And homosexulaity in America has gone from a sexual orientation question to a vast political agenda. Heterosexuals do not need to go out and advocate for their choice, so why do homosexuals? Intolerance and persecution? In my day a normal girl that got pregnant unwed was a scandal or shacking up together with a man living in sin. Heterosexuals could also be disowned, hurt, or in some rare cases- killed for that too. Abortion was also a scandal and anal sex among men and women, even married, was thought perversion and sick behavior. I think young people are more influenced by pornography, social media and peer pressure than ever before and what was once scandalous is now popular and promoted. Biologically, everyone knows that heterosexuality is natural and required for reproduction and so are the feelings and longing for the opposite sex. Homosexuality is just a sexual choice and is deviant... but then again, deviancy and decadence is "in" today. The old slogan remains true: "Sin is ALWAYS in!" Hate me all you want, you self-proclaimed "loving" homosexuals born that way! Btw, in my day this Lady? Gaga would never have been on a stage as she would have been viewed as pure filth. But once again, filth is also 'in" today. She looks like a back alley prostitute.
