The Lyrics

Despite TT's romantic ballads (see today's other post), Fiddlegirl does *not* write me love songs. And it's just as well, too, because if she did, I expect that they'd come out something like this:

You've lost all your senses
And your manners: the poorest
Like a fountain of bling rhyme
Like a hemorrhoid pain

You're the horniest shepherd
Just go back to your ocean
Don't tell me verb tenses
Don't grill me again

Think you're above me
Always giving strife, do you
You draw frowns and not laughter
You belie lack of charms

With a put-down, deride, you
They laugh at, and not with, you
Crumb, let me shove you
Get off me again!

[Violin interlude: Strafing, various, from the Stradivarius]

You don't have a wife, do you?
What we think of you:
No women: your friend!

You raise my defenses
If not right, you're the sorest
Always countin' to sing rhyme
To me, talk, do you deign?

All my subs, do you revert
You're devoid of emotion
You're full of pretenses
Your skill drill, my bane!

OK, recess is over. Back to work on next Wednesday's FG-TT Big Project.

Very funny TT and nice one to do with this attrocious OS. 555

This line -not true:

They laugh at, and not with, you

We are actually laughing near you not at you. =;-)

I'm sure that you pegged yourself quite true in the Fiddlegirl's eyes. Can't wait to see what she has to say. Nice write TT.

Too funny, TT... I can hardly wait for FG's response, esp. to inimitably Turtlesque lines like "skill drill, my bane" and "fountain of bling rhyme"!
Still strongly fanticipating your 'big reveal' next week... Go team Tiddle! (or is that 'Furdle'?)
DJ Blaze - September 23, 2009 - Report this comment
I'm also waiting for FG to respond. 555

If you grill her too much it may be you who ends up being grilled (I hear you're a delicacy in Florida)
Andria - September 23, 2009 - Report this comment
Great job on this parody, although I beg to differ on the atrocity of the OS. I too am awaiting FG's response to this, and I will vote all 5s.

Timmy1000: Thanks ... agree on OS.

Guy: She doesn't seem to be "responding" ;).... did I say something wrong? Women.... Thanks for v/c!

TJC: See above ... did I say something offensive? ... not that I ever have before, of course .... Either team name works... how 'but Furtile, as in minds? Tiddle gives TT ttoo many bad ides ;) ... thanks for v/c!

DJ Blaze: I guess everybody is. I guess she's not going to. She can be *so* unresponsive at times ;)... thanks for v/c!

Andy Primus: I'm a delicacy anywhere (barf!), but, fortunately, protected by the Endangered and Threatened Species Act. .... although I may be both threatened and endangered if *someone* doesn't like this! ... Thanks for v/c.

Andria: Calling FG! Calling FG! Your fans are awaiting -- don't keep them waiting! Thanks for v/c, Andria!

Your ego, immense is
Such a didactic tortoise
Grand, your linguistic strings; Mine--
--Read and balk with disdain
You've reformed, you say? Never!
What would give you the notion
Of white picket fences
And cottage in glen?

Wor-shipful of you
So you think, but it's not true
I'm convulsing with laughter
(And you're prob'ly alarmed...)
But just take it in stride, you
"Right" we'll always be, we two
TT and Fid-dle...Fun paro-dies penned! :D xoxo

Hmm...the plot thickens. I'll vote 555, uh...for Fiddlegirl's ditty. ;-D

Just what Timmy said.

I've enjoyed this one lots, TT! Ditto at Fiddlegirl's comment! I echo all comments above! Oh, and I can tell you were kidding with that "green" remark from your other parody! You already know I got nothing against "green"! LOL! I also look forward to yours and Fiddle's "Big Project" coming soon! Great as always and 5's!
TT - September 23, 2009 - Report this comment
Fiddlegirl: Actually, it was a cottage in the ghetto, per the other song...

"Still" doesn't get the idea, does she? If I do self-mockery, you're supposed to tell everyone, "Oh, no, it's nothing like that." ... etc. Hmph... see if I ever do S&M with *you* again! (Self & Mocking, of course).

(j/k, of course. Very nice commentody. However, as for stealing AJ21's vote from me, we're gonna have to have a little talk about that.... ;)

blackjack21: Gee, thanks, "pal". See if I ever write *you* another tribute. May you be dealt nothing but 15s, and the dealer all 21s. (j/k, of course! ... and yeah, the plot *is* thickening -- perhaps deliberately, to set up the Big Project for next Wednesday? Hmm... coooould be! :D) ... thanks for v/c.

John Barry: Just what TT said to Timmy. Thanks for read/v/c.

Christie Marie M: Thanks for v/c! And looking forward to seeing you next Wednesday at the Big Project! Oh, and invite all of your friends -- it'll help to Phillipine-nough seats that we'll be playing to a full house! (heh heh :D)

Oh, come now, my sweet little sugarshell... Of *course* the parody is completely fictional. Well, almost completely... ;)

Kettle calling the pot black. Your pacing was just a little off in some places - too many syllables, but otherwise ROTFLMAO.

FG: You want 21? OK, you can have him. Good-bye. We're through. .... After all I've done for you -- what ingratitude! Go marry Fred -- I mean, blackjack! ...And forget about Wednesday's Big Project, 'k? (hmmph! Women!)

2Eagle: Please provide specific examples, matched to the corresponding OS line, as I'm always eager to learn. Thanks for v/c, and looking forward to elaboration.

Oh, of all the silly... Good grief. Fine, then. With your unparalleled skill, I'm sure you can find and train another partner like *that*. But don't you think for a minute that I can't get by without you on here-- I can.
blackjack21 - September 24, 2009 - Report this comment
Who's Fred?
TT - September 25, 2009 - Report this comment
blackjack21: It's theoretically possible that that question might have been answered in Next Wednesday's Big Project, although that's looking questionable at the moment, as something -- or someone -- seems to have come between us.

FG: I've gotten along here quite well for almost four years without you, or without any partner at all, for that matter. I can do without you, too ... I'll be what I am, a Solitary Man, oh oooh, oh, oh.

Train another partner? No, thank you. Too much work with too little reward -- and the ingratitude. I will never let a woman help me write again.

8-/ Is this for real? Come on folks, let's lighten up. This is supposed to be fun.

FWIW: Fiddlegirl is far too talented to be be working with someone. Her work stands out on its own merits. Length of time on here is irrelevant when you have the goods.

Tommy Turtle, the same goes for you, and then some. My question about Fred was just an attempt to inject a little levity into the escalating escapades.
