When I was in high school, we used to go to Subway before we played football Friday nights. We always wore our jerseys when we went. Every time, there was a guy who would ask us all for rides to the game. We didn't know his name, and were too scared to ask, so we just called him Silly Fat Man. This is my ode to him.

On a warm and muggy Friday night
I'm silly and I'm fat and I need to hitch a ride

I never miss a contest, know the players all by name
But it's too far to walk, so please take me to the game

Well I'm gettin kinda nervous, I cannot get a ride
Just one hour before they kick it off
I don't wanna have to walk, though it's just three blocks away

I talk to all the students when I watch the team play
Especially the girls, but they always run away
Why am I so scary, I'm really very tame
