I do not believe that the Public feels reassured that the Federal Government will be able to provide timely and sufficient aid in the event of a Natural Disaster, should one occur. I do not believe the Public is particularly pleased at the Energy prices they are paying now...and if that is the case now they will be a whole lot less pleased when Winter hits this year...Having based his re-election mostly on the premise that "I know how to protect you better than the other guy...you can trust me.", I think you would find a lot of Americans sadly disillusioned at the rather pathetic lack of leadership that was on display in dealing with Hurricane Katrina and the aftermath. After all, THAT was a tragedy that at least came with a fair amount of warning preceding it. I do not believe we would receive the same courtesy from a Terrorist cell or organization planning an attack. Say, how do YOU feel about that? Is it OK with you that this Administration went out and brought in unqualified cronies to run the Agency in charge of Disaster Response and Relief?
