The Lyrics

This song, along with "Allah, Won't You Buy Me a Mercedez Benz" was performed by Janis Joplin during her brief three day conversion to Islam phase, when she called herself Yusufina Salaam.
Busted flat in Pakistan
Waiting out the rain
When my spirits were as damp as my chador
Abu flagged a donkey down
Just before it rained
It rode us all the way to Peshawar
I pulled out my prayer beads
From my moldy chador pocket
I prayed soft while Abu cursed the Jews
Donkey hooves stamping time
Abu chanted the Quran so fine
He knew every verse in Surah Two

Islam's just another word for
Nothing left to choose
Nothing ain't nothing 'less Allah makes it halal
And praising Allah was enough, Lord
When he cursed the Jews
You know praising Allah was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Abu Ma'aghi

From the East Iranian salt flats
To the blazing Meccan sun
Hey, Abu shared the secrets of the Narrow Path
Through all kinds of fasting
Thru all the prayers we done
Hey, Abu, baby kept me from Allah's wrath
One day up near Qandahar, wallahi
He joined the Taliban
He's looking for those Virgins
And I hope he finds them
But I'd trade all my tomorrow for just one yesterday
To hear Abu denounce the infidels one last time

Yeah, Islam's just another word for
Nothing left to choose
Nothing, that's all that Abu allowed me
But praising Allah was easy, Lord,
When he cursed the Jews
You know praising Allah was good enough for me
Good enough for me and my Abu Ma'aghi

Humdu lah, humdu lilahi, humdu 'lah 'lah 'lah
Humdu lilah, lilahi, Abu Ma'aghi
Humdu lah lah, Humdu 'lah, lah, lah
Humdu lilah, lilahi, Abu Ma'aghi

Allah la la, la la Allahi la
Allah la la, la la Allahi la
Ain't no bomb on my Abu Ma'aghi
Allalalahi Allahi now, Allalalahi, Allahi, Allahi, Allahi now
Hey, Innah* Abu now, Innah Abu Ma'aghi

Lord, I call him my mullah, I call him Imam
You know I served my mullah just the best I can, C'mon
Innah Abu yeah, Innah Abu Ma'aghi
La la la la la la la la la now
Hey, hey hey, Abu Ma'aghi

*(Ancient Arabic and Aramaic intensifier word that is found in the Bible and is rendered as "Lo" or "Behold" or "Verily")

This ought to earn you a fatwa or two. Very well done. Great use of stereotypes.

Made a mistake when writing down the lyrics. Meant to say "Abu flagged a donkey down; behind a camel train" One other note. Surah Two is the longest chapter in the Quran, by far (7% of Quran's text) It is also the wellspring for Islam's antipathy towards Jews.
