Had my load of party ways,
Class fights and piddle talk, all the hell they raise,
Deceit Commies -- screwin' with facts,
Look what the polls show, it's so unnatural Jack.
Schtup our rights, no petty thing,
They've got to sell blue, jokers left wing.
The news on lately, does incite,
As long as they can rake it they will crow all night.

Where's my American land?
Why you America canned?
Hey all you Town Hall clowns, Don't let your party go down.
Your wish our very command.

Those bum elitists don't own the law,
They're baitin' up a plan as we earn they will blow.
Yes they could, they enlight, these latter day knights,
They're so damn infective -- and they're so uptight.
The nineteen-eighties, was Reagan's win,
He went out and beat the boys of Kremlin.
He said "Mikhail, dude, let's get it gone",
He so succeeded to tear that damn wall down!

This is American land,
It's not like cleric Iran,
We're run into the ground, don't let your party on down,
We've had all that we can stand.

Where will America land?
Don't tell me. oh "Yes we can".
They're meeting in your town; they shout the smarty’s on down,
It's so hysterical man.

This is America, man,
It is not Turkmenistan.
It's being run by clowns, and not too smartly they're wound,
Take an American stand.

Don't have a flair for Qur'an,
We're not in Tajikistan.
We're coming for your town, we’ll shut your county on down,
This ain't America man.

We're not in Uzbekistan, ooo-ooo.
We're not in Tehran, Iran, ooo-ooo.
It's still America land. ooo-ooo.

Nice anthem. I wonder if it might be played by someone on the campaign trail eventually. Hope it doesn't get hijacked though.

Sounds like an anthem for town hall meetings. Well said.

Way to DiRito the riot act! :)

Preach it, Bro Guy! ... esp. liked the ref to Reagan ending the Cold War, getting the wall torn down, and actually befriending Gorbachev. Too bad they don't make them like that any more. 555+++

Forsby - Let 'em hijack it - I own the intellectual rights to it - I could use the money. Thanks.

Mark - It's almost like being back in the '60s and protesting the war like was done at Woodstock. I actually like those old protest songs like CCR's "Fortunate Sun" and Country Joe McDonald and the Fish doing "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag ". This is just like doing now what they did back then. I'll have another protest parody sometime this week. Tomorrow I'm doing silly. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Timmy1K - You mean the town Hollerin' meetings don't ya? =;-) Thanks.
BR> Fiddlegirl you meet the nicest people when the riot act is being exercised and enforced. I met you and TT, see. Thanks.

TT - I liked RR the best. He had to be the greatest since Washington and Lincoln. I think that Ronald Reagan could have used a teleprompter - it would have made a great hassock. In fact two of them would hve done him better - he could crap on one and cover it with the other. It's high time that we take Hamilton's likeness of the US Ten dollar bill and replace it with Ronald Reagan. Thanks oh great shelled one. BTW - this was the response to Stormin' Norman's parody of the smae OS.

"this was the response to Stormin' Norman's parody of the same OS.".
Doh, me! He dropped off my radar ages ago, consigned to the dustbin. I so surely wish you could have posted this within a day or two of his -- a parody can be a far more powerful comeback than all the comments put together. Makes this even better -- I'm voting again. (Hey, if Kennedy and Obama can use voter fraud, why can't we?

Why don't you contact him at his blog (there's a link at his song) and invite him to read this? Betcha' he doesn't have the cojones!

TT - I'll take a pass on that, but you may alert him if you wish. Thanks.

Hi Guy -- I got a heads-up on your parody from someone who anonymously flamed a (completely unrelated) post on my blog...guess he didn't want to poke his head too far out of his shell. I was pleased and flattered to see you found 'Republican Plan' worthy of such an inspired response.

I thought your pacing/cadence/fit could have been better in spots, and I found the piece a bit diffuse, thematically speaking. I also thought you got off some funny lines, and I found it entertaining. 2-4-3. --Norm

ps re: RR, if his face belongs on any paper money, my vote's for the three-dollar bill.

If you're implying that I posted on your blog, you're gravely mistaken. I wouldn't waste my time. And I am not so cowardly as to do so anonymously were I to post there, on this issue or any other. I don't know who your flamer was, but I believe you owe me an apology for automatically assuming it was I. Thank you.

btw, congrats for at least signing your negative comments here - there are a lot of anon flamers, here as everywhere else. ... and JOC, why *did* you choose a nick that belonged to the General in charge of the First Persian Gulf War under President George H. Bush? .... curious. Cheers.

Yeah dude - where is your proof that TT did what you said he did. Do you know what a false accusation does to your rep dude? Not to mention the bad credibility it does for your blog, is it? I think you either come up with proof that TT did this and he admits to it or you apologise to him for the false accusation. I may need to find yur blog and show your readers how you point fingers without proof of the pudding. Now what is it going to be?

From wikipedia, re: (Wallace Stanley) Sayre's Law

On 20 December 1973, the Wall Street Journal quoted Sayre as: "Academic politics is the most vicious and bitter form of politics, because the stakes are so low."

Make that "Amiright" politics!

Sounds about right - dodge the question and throw something up that is "off topic". You are a contrite one aren't you? Unless you are prepared to show proof of said allegation then please keep your comments to yourself. I won't play your silly game.

I like this kind of writing....right up my alley. Yea...where IS our American land?

She's like sleeping beauty - just waiting for the handsome prince to come along - sure hope he isn't too late. Thanks.
