The Lyrics

Ready for another round of Bond History Month? Good, because today's entry is quite a special one! First of all, this was the first Bond movie I ever saw, and second, I'd been having trouble finding an idea for this parody for years. But now, it's finally here, so enjoy the parody!
At first I was afraid, I was petrified,
Kept thinkin’ we would finally lose to the bad guys’ side,
But then that Secret Agent Man, he came back to prove us wrong!
Our lives prolonged, we knew he’d be here all along!

And now he’s back from outer space,
He just Raked the Moon with Golden Eyes, now he’s back with a new case!
He doesn’t need a Golden Gun, he’s got his wits and he’s got class,
Maybe Diamonds Are Forever, but the Earth is made of glass!

We want Carver thrown out the door,
This man and his tall tales are not welcome anymore!
Ain’t he the one who tries to spread a bunch of lies?
But he’ll be humbled! We will not curl up and die!

Oh Tomorrow, it Never Dies!
Oh, as long as we got Bond right here, we know we’ll stay alive!
People said we wouldn’t live, but Tomorrow’s got more to give.
It Never Dies! It Never Dies!
Hey hey!

It takes all the strength he has not to knuckle down,
Bond’s tryin’ hard to keep a stealth ship from razing downtown!
And we spent oh so many nights just feeling panicked & unsure,
We used to cry, but now we hold our heads up high!

We see ourselves out on cloud nine,
We’re not some fearful little slugs out on the firin’ line!
Now that Bond is dropping in, he’s gonna mess some suckers up!
And then he’ll have a bit of lovin’ & some martini in his cup!

Oh…

We want Carver thrown out the door,
This man and his tall tales are not welcome anymore!
Ain’t he the one who tries to spread a bunch of lies?
But he’ll be humbled! We will not curl up and die!

Oh Tomorrow, it Never Dies!
Oh, as long as we got Bond right here, we know we’ll stay alive!
People said we wouldn’t live, but Tomorrow’s got more to give.
It Never Dies! It Never Dies!
