The Lyrics

Big bother, no fun
Is this black pernicious fowl
His fat beak yaps like a motormouth
A ducky tail-end and a little head like a bottle
A scrawny neck that I'd like to throttle
Mogen and David and Dom Perignon could never put a cork in that face

Way too happy, very Daffy, kind of like his name
Wish he would just leave me alone
I haven't a, haven't a thing to do with this fugly duckling
No question he, is trouble who rates a swift demise
All the while, with a sneaky smile
I've got my shotgun loaded up
And if I don't miss now, a dead duck is he, hey hey
A dead duck is he

Aim a little better now, I might have duck tonight

Elmer, Elmer, Elmer Fudd
The duck was daffy long before he ever came to you
Stop your gun from blasting
The sound it makes is very loud, for crazy hares to hear
Crazy hares to hear
The hare is near

Duck season, wabbit season
What's the difference when I'm losing my reason
On one side duck, the other a hare
Wish I'd stayed out of this forest
Calls himself Bugs, and that's exactly what he is
By his strange demeanor, his mind has lost its fizz

"What's up, Doc?" he comments through a carrot
Come to match his wits to mine
He's kissing me, kissing my lips, what a funny hare now
I'm going nuts, I've gotta get outta here somehow
Taking chances my little forest friends to fake
I'll shoot 'em, then I'll leave 'em here in my wake
They're gonna go down, gonna go down

I've got you, I've got you, in my stew tonight

At the wabbit hole
The barrel of my gun descends the little narrow tunnel
Then suddenly I shoot
I don't know how, but still somehow it seems
I've shot myself in the ass, shot my own fat ass
Shot my own fat ass, yeah yeah

All in all, this was a very trying day
Hunting's not the fun it used to be
I never met a foe as daffy as that duck
A bunny quite so bugs
As I retreat my smoking seat is slowly dragging in the mud

My favorite Looney tunes character has always been Daffy. My favorite episode is when Elmer first encounters him at the pond: "You know... I think that duck's crazy!!!" Woo-hoo, woo-hoo, woo-hoo!!!

Yeah, early Daffy was much more of a loony troublemaker than the fall guy he became later on.

Yeah, the early independent Daffy was better then the latter combos of him with Bugs or Porky! Same for early Woody Woodpecker!!!
