The Lyrics

If you're a fan of the president and can't appreciate scathing satire against your high-holy messiah, by all means give me 1's across the board because I'm not concerned with appearance; I'm concerned with reality. And thus far, his reality consists of a violence that comes from within him, which he can't understand, that that masquerades itself as a holy war in the name of 9/11.
He took our land, he took it down
He looks for villains but they can't be found
I saw his erection in the blood covered fields
Till the landslide brought him down.

Oh, dammit give a try
Show some love
Can the violence within his heart rise above?
He has failed through the changing social tides
He can't fathom the reasons for our strife.

Well, I'm not afraid of changing
Up to the hilt with strife around you
Your guns make you colder
Always violents get bolder
And you're getting bolder too.

Oh take our land, take it down
Look for villains who cannot be found
If you see his erection in the blood covered fields
Well, the landslide will bring him down

If you see his election caused the blood covered fields
Well, help the landslide bring him down.

Like the sentiment Jay, but I doubt it'll be a landslide. Too much ignorance out there.

So the electon of Bush caused "blood covered fields"? Is that any worse than those mass graves caused by Saddam?

Well done... but ummm.... even though i don't really care too much for george bush... i really don't see him losing the next election. There isn't a clinton out there to rise up from nowhere with just a year left.

In respose to Steve K.: If Bush were doing this for the Iraqi people, us, and/or the furthering of the human condition, I wouldn't hesitate to agree with you, for Saddam is unquestionably evil. But keen observervation by the trained eye can't help but reveal him as a naturally violent man. He's fighting this war because he has a deep need to achieve something his father couldn't; in other words, he has an unresolved Oedipal conflict. This isn't opinion; it's objective psychological reality to those who can understand it.. No other candidate in 2000, Democrat or Republican, would have fought this war. History will show him as a disturbed man; of this I have no doubt.

Jay, I admire your attitude. You challenge readers to give you ones, you get them, and you take them like a man.

I'm not a fan of the president, but this parody is not a strong or funny criticism of him. 4-1-2.
