Parody Song Title:

"Rita, The Abusive Meter-Bitch"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

another great song off Elton's "Tumbleweed Connection" album
I went downtown to buy new shoes
Wondered, "Should I feed the meter?"
It was the weekend, shouldn't matter
Put back change; I'd keep

When I got through shopping
much to my surprise
I got incensed; was rattled
Temper; It sure did rise

This Police girl I did see there
ticket pad was in her hand
I yelled, "Hey, just what gives here?"
I was hot, yeah, really mad
I said, "Hey, M'am, that's really cold
I think that's really raw"
She said, "Please move this heap, Sir
or it will be towed off"
That ticked me off

I tried to speak, but words did not come
She said, "Tell it in court"
Her attitude was not very friendly
was the surly sort

She was so abrasive
dissed me, I would say
Yeah, you could say I got real pissed
I had become enraged

I said things I can't repeat here
"Go get screwed", was the most bland
She said, "Watch your step, Mister
or you'll end up in the can
I do not have to take this, dude
so you'd best mind your mouth"
I was so overheated
I told that rude bitch off
She called more cops

Was in the slams the next thing I knew...

Very very very funny!!!! Well written. And I really am truly sorry about voting 1s on your Pink Floyd parody.

Fita, Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. The 1's on the 'Floyd parody? Not a problem, especially since you were willing to own up to it when I asked who posted that score. You gave me a reason, and even though it didn't really connect to my piece it allowed me to address your frustration. Since no one else ever has ever responded before when I asked for a reason on a low score I had to respect that, so I was no longer bothered by it. You were just frustrated and needed to get a little help with your writing. I'm actually quite glad to offer tips and instruction; I often do it even when I'm not asked (lol).

Was a little disappointed to not see "Rita(r)" in there replacing Peter, but good job anyway...

Mer, I started this going a certain direction - and then changed course because I didn't really like what I had...but I kept the name in the title...actually, I originally thought of blending "Lovely Rita, Meter-Maid" by the Beatles in this OS as a hybrid...it wasn't really working for me...set it aside and when I came back to it I had this idea percolating up. Thanks ~ ~ ~
