Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

i used to go there...all alone...and stroll
till they closed at night
i'd leave...but i'd be sad to hit the road
i used to see this park, being so much fun
but the times have changed
the price you pay...is more than should be done

costs, i can't believe in disney's hellish museum
now the place just fires my scorn...i've made my stand
disney's magic kingdom is a wee high for my clan
yeah, left that place behind...i'm mad at...disneyland

oh, disney's hellish museum
crowds, you'll see...i hate it
it ain't right
cause the lines...are no fun...as they wind
i won't bite...i won't bite
packed in tight...there is no delight
disney's hellish museum
i loathe you...yes, i do

if you choose to...you may...have to...swing a loan
sum seems a pretty penny
most others...can't afford...and camp at home
my odds sure are measly with my family's size
they'll never see the kingdom
zowie ! ...have you seen the price ?

i gets hard to breathe...in disney's hellish museum
through the gates, they writhe and pour
and some get dragged
disney's magic kingdom, if you're knee-high, could be bad
could get left behind...or trampled...where you stand

oh, disney's hellish museum
shunned by me...don't want it
i won't fight...cause the size...of the throng...is unkind
sixty five...ninety nine
you'll arrive and just stand in line
disney's hellish museum
i loathe you...yes, i do

disney's hellish museum...you know that i loathe you...yes, i do
disney's hellish museum...you know that i loathe you...yes, i do
disney's hellish museum...you know that i loathe you...yes, i do

Wins the 'Most Oxymoronic Title" award. I'll slip you Five Mickeys, that'll relax you... If it's any consolation (probably not), East coast version is the same, plus the "added attractions" of humidity and thunderstorms at no extra cost.
btw, Disney employees say that working there is about as you've described, They've picketed and struck at times.

Sounds like you have a legitimate gripe, here...and plan to halt your Walt...altho' I've never been to DL...I'm sure your point is well taken...It sort of echoes an old proverb of mine.."Too much of a good thing, is not a good thing.."...very well done..5 tickets to Knotts Berry Farm..

I went once to Disneyworld about 20 years ago. 66$ now? wow. Amusement parks have gotten so darned expensive. There are two within walking distance of my house - the Water park was 7.95 a day 20 years ago (when it first opened) - now it is 47$ a day. Can't complain too much though - I have seasons passes to both parks. 5s.

you had me at the title alvin - fantastic (your titles have been out of this world lately) - and like Red Ant, it's been over 20 years since I've been to Disneyland, but I was there on a quiet day, managed ALL the rides (the Space Mountain was the newest one then, which fair scared the crap out of me) and I loved the place - 555

thanks rex red ant (the price was just to fit the song better, but it isn't far below that...my season pass (which has NO blackout days is around 320 bucks) thanks larry and stuart (they just re-opened space mountain last year after a long refurbishing)
