The Lyrics

i'm norman bates...i ain't got no mates
i'm lonely at the motel here
i started to knock but your door was locked
cause i guess you're really full of fear
my ol' mom smells funky cause i stuffed her like a monkey
yeah, my ol' lady stays upstairs
i think she looks cute...she's so lifeless and mute
a halo of flies 'round her hair
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

don't need to phone for a reservation
its vacant at this dismal inn
shower tonight...you're knifed and dyin'
you don't want to let me in
blood is gonna roll down the bathtub drain
you will not be left alive
shower tonight...i'll flash my knife
shower tonight...you'll die...you'll die...you'll die
oooooooooooooooooooh

well, she's locked pretty tight in here tonight
i'm lookin' for a passkey that might fit right
when i hear that curtain rustle, then its time to bleed
she may slink down to the sink and shout out "let me be"
the water masks the sound of my victim's fright
i slash down with my switchblade...do just what i like
i'm a genuine psycho of the highest class
whose dead mom sits like a mummy on her ass
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

don't need to phone for a reservation
its vacant at this dismal inn
shower tonight...you're knifed and dyin'
you don't want to let me in
blood is gonna roll down the bathtub drain
you will not be left alive
shower tonight...i'll flash my knife
shower tonight...you'll die...you'll die...you'll die
oooooooooooooooooooh

showers may...showers may...showers may
showers may...showers may...showers may
showers may...showers may...showers may
wipe your life
showers may...showers may...showers may
showers may...showers may...showers may
showers may...showers may...showers may
wipe your life

Well this is my favorite of the day. Who's your low vote fan? The juxtaposition of that song and that movie is really funny. (Think Tony Perkins at the piano singing all twitchy) Haw!

Alvin, WHEW~ whatta parody!!! This one is belly-splitter, among other anatomical locations that can be breached with a sharp axe blade. Rick, haven't you made the acquaintance of Mr. "4-2-3" (although he/she gave Alvin "4-2-2" here)? I wrote a "Tribute" that's in today's entries.

What can I say that hasn't been said already? Great job! Rick D- actually, I was imagining Elton singing THIS version dressed as a woman.... what a stretch, huh?

For the title alone...you know the score (it rhymes with drives)
