Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

A tribute to the tv/film background superimposition effect of the 60s/70s
Sun is shinin' in the sky,
There ain't a cloud in sight
It's stock footage
To be superimposed onto
video
In a dated looking way , heyheyhey.

Runnin' through the studio,(Pant, Pant, Pant)
Can't do no outside filming
In the city on the set
Which once was pretty
Mr. Blue Screen is living here today.

(Chorus:)
Mr. Blue Screen, could you explain,
why is this scene
so un-convincing, (vincing) and we're wincing

Hey there Mr. Blue
There's a fuzzy fringe 'round you
Look around see what you do,
Everybody laughs at you.

Hey you with the hopeful face,
Jim can't fix it for you to enter Space
As compensation, Mr. Blue Screen's
Up there waitin' and today
You'll sit on a blue-painted floor

(Chorus)
Mr. Blue Screen, (though sometimes green),
why is the scale
so un-proportional, (portional) this shot is cautional

Hey there Mr. Blue
There's a fuzzy fringe 'round you
Look around see what you do,
Everybody laughs at you.

Mr. Blue you did it right,
But soon comes CGI,
Morphin' over, rendered dull
through much exposure
Never mind I'll remember you this way.

I thought this was a geek's song; you know, the BSOD (blue screen of death) thing... Turned out to be about being on a soundstage with CGI and SFX...
